Can you please point to the thread, where the plugin is named, that supports additional information of AVIs/MPEGs ?

This is a music software at this point. You can only add video support with WinAmp plugins and as mentioned elsewhere some support additional information.

Please stop posting the same over and over in different topics.

yes, its right: "This is MediaMonkey, not MusicMonkey".

was something done on video (avi) meantime?

I use vld4wa_27a plugin. but it shows no information about avi's in MediaMonkey filelist...

From what I can tell, the developers of MM feel strongly that the vision of this software is music, not video. They have included a video plug-in for those interested, but I think they have mentioned in the Wishlist forum that they don't have plans to develop the video-side in any release soon.

On the otherhand, I know they are very open to their users, and so if enough people express interest something will probably get done. As one user commented "This is MediaMonkey, not MusicMonkey".

also, too incorporate video in the software greatly complicates the amount of work that needs to be put into each update. They already have a giant wishlist of only audio related changes, so to put video on that list might mean a major turn in developments.

Anyway, check out the Wishlist section. Maybe do a poll or something.

Can someone please make an all-inclusive video plugin (mov, mpg, wmv, avi, divx, etc.) that actually works for mediamonkey? The plugin offerred on this site shows washed out video and is extremely grainy, even the native winamp video plugin sucks. Can someone please make a decent video plugin, or devs, can you incorporate this feature into a future release?
