I can right click a collection and receive the context menu, the issue here (I'm using Vista) is that it's the wrong context menu. However if you "Open in New Tab" you can see that it correctly opens the collection. It seems like it's showing the "Options" portion of the context menu from whatever node is focused. Have the Playlist node selected, then click in the Now Playing pane, right click collection, options -> and you see Edit Views!
EDIT: Yeah, If you have a collection selected (ie Podcast), and then click over to the Now Playing, then right click on another collection (ie Music), you will see Options -> Edit Collection, but it opens up the options for the first collection (in this case, Podcast). Though again, Open in New Tab works correctly.
EDIT 2: I read the title and was mistook it to mean the tree shouldn't be in focus as well as the node. I realize now that the switching to NP panel is an unnecessary step. Duh me.
