Re: iPhone 4 not detected!

Just got a new 4G iTouch (4.1)and MM doesn't see it at all.
Before you go an tell me to install 3.2.2.1300(gold) it's already installed and was working correctly with my old iTouch running 4.02.
I'm using iTunes 9.2.1.5

Ran Nero also, says CD Text not supported, but the manual for my burner says it is. MM will fail every time I try to burn using Text. However I burnt a CD using Nero 7 with CD Text enabled and Viola! it worked. To confirm it worked, I took the CD out to my car which has a CD player with Text and wor...

I'm for video support, as long as it doesn't interfere with the Audio portion.

For me I could care less if I were able to play the "Video" through MM, just having it able to sync with my iPod would be good enough.
Currently I use itunes just to sync videos and an occasional podcast.

Strange, My Nano 3G works flawlessly with the latest release of MM3. I can even use iTunes to sync my movies and nothing gets corrupted. Do you use "Sync to iPod" when trying to put music on your Nano? do you have "force itunes style folders" checked? if so.. go to my computer and navigate to your i...

Re: Short filenames on iPod

Thanks Rusty. I'll just stick to putting longer names on until it's fixed. Even with the longer names iTunes doesn't seem to choke. I don't use iTunes for music, but I've added some videos without any ill effects from iTunes. Stan fyi, the short filenames were added to MM3 for full iPod compatibilit...

Guess it isn't the Nano Upgrade. Must be MM3-1105 as my filenames are the same... Short. The only difference between us is you are still on ver 1.0.1. on your Nano and I've got 1.0.2. So the short filenames must be MM3-1105. Are you using MM3 1105? If so, look on your Nano and see if the files are s...

I stumbled upon this firmware yesterday but waited in installing it to check here first.
Are you using MM3 1105?
If so, look on your Nano and see if the files are stored with full or almost full file names.

Update

I don't know if anyone else is having the same problem as I am after upgrading both their 3g Nano's to 1.0.2. and using MM3-1105. I figured out a work around that seems to work. Make sure you don't have "Force iTunes-style folders checked. At the top change Sync tracks to "iPod_Control\Music\F00\<Fi...

It must be the new firmware on the Nano. I had to check and then un-check the iTunes option in MM3 so it wouldn't force iTunes. All I know is before I upgraded both the Nano and MM3 the Nano had long filenames in the iTunes compatibility feature of MM3. I'll just have to load my music differently now.

Is it my Nano 3g or is it MM3 1105?

Okay I probably did a stupid thing I upgraded the firmware on my Nano to 1.0.2. and also installed MM3 1105. When syncing I was getting a lot of errors on my Nano as far as Albums and Songs being out of order and in the wrong album. I noticed before upgrading when looking at the filenames stored on ...

I guess I spoke to soon. Was playing around with the audiobook, and discovered even though it doesn't show up in the audiobook section it will remember bookmarks.
The m4p's were converted from mp3's

I'm bad!

All though the M4P files don't show up in the audiobooks section, it does however do bookmarks which is important. I can live with that until it's fixed.

Glad you can get audiobooks to work with a Nano G3, they don't work with mine at all.
M4P's don't even show up as audiobooks at all.
