Yep that should do it!

You just need to convert the now() to a double by doing CDbl(now()) and it will show up properly.

As I currently understand (and I really haven't done a lot of reading) the scripting will only allow an update to the path if it currently exists. If this restriction were removed my problem is completely cleared up, so I would be good to go.... no other ideas i am currently unable to think thanks a...

Do you mean to install MM on the server and try there?? I'll give that a shot tomorrow - my library currently has 25478 tracks so hopefully it works. If not I'll probably just rename the server to HTPC and live with the nonsensical naming of things until I come up with something else.
