Re: Successfully running MM5 in Wine Ubuntu Linux

Success here too with MM5 5.0.0.2089: Under Manjaro XFCE inside a default wine prefix. MAD-Plugin installed. 4 errors occur at startup. 4 times clicking "OK" (and not sending via internet as this does'nt help anyone at the moment I guess..). Looks great, is responsive and works fine. Only exception ...

At the moment searches are'nt reflected in the tree. ie if i seach for an artist it brings it up in the grid view but not in the tree. There is already an extension av...

Re: 2061: Removing lots of tracks from library crashes MM5

Sure..: Removing subsets of all tracks seems to work slow but OK: ~5000 tracks: ok ~10 min ~9500 tracks: ok~17 min ~26000 tracks (all remaining): crash Log-ID: A77D67EA ~20000 : ok ~20 min ~5000 (all remaining) : crash LOG-ID: 39A50BD4 and message "Argument out of r...

Re: 2061: Removing webBrowser.mmip does not work

Sorry, mixed up Web-node and the node created by the webbrowser-extension.
(They look very similar)
Removal works fine.
Please feel free to delete this thread..

(solved) 2061: Removing webBrowser.mmip does not work

Removing/uninstalling webBrowser.mmip does not work.
Installed and removed this extension.
It is no longer shown as installed extension,
but the "Web"-node remains and is still working.

Re: Poll: Media Tree Nodes with sub-nodes useful or not?

The nodes in the tree are very effective to edit bits of the database. For instance, if for some reason you have misspelled the name of an interpreter (Classic Music or Jazz, happens all the time) you can easily discover and fix in the tree , changing at once many tracks from different records. Tha...

Re: 2060 2 different Issues: 1. Windows XP 2. Virtualbox

Jut tried on Win7 (virtual box) and looks correctly. The default (and probably your configuration) is: 3D-acceleration not enabled. -> no issues The default 3D-acceleration enabled -> issues "Experimental" 3D-acceleration "for Aero" enabled -> no issues (whether using "Aero" or not, i.e. classical ...

Re: 2060 2 different Issues: 1. Windows XP 2. Virtualbox

It looks like virtual video adapter issues .... i will try to install VirtualBox and test. 3D-acceleration for the virtual machine set to disabled in Virtualbox: No issues Not surprisingly (?) Chrome seems to produce similar problems that are solvable the same way. Edit: Newer guest additions offer...

Re: 2060 2 different Issues: 1. Windows XP 2. Virtualbox

Unfortunately, windows XP is no longer supported by chromium. So that is expected not to work. OK. Can you send me some screenshots of the graphics issues on virtual Win 7 ? Sure. 1.
