Re: SQLite query returns out of date info

For anyone reading this somewhere down the line, it looks like it's a Power BI issue. I queried the same database with Excel's Power Query and it returned up-to-date information. I'm not sure what Power BI's problem is yet, but it's not a Mediamonkey issue.

SQLite query returns out of date info

Hi, I've set up an ODBC connection to my MM.DB so that I can make my own reports, but I notice that the data it returns is missing music added less than 21 days ago. My ODBC connection is pointing to a MM.DB dated 7/5/19, but it doesn't contain anything added after 18/4/19 in it. I've searched to se...

album art screensaver, is there such a thing?

Long-time satisfied MM user here. I often just let my MM play all day when I'm home, and would love an add-on that displays the Now Playing song's album cover full-screen, refreshing each time a new song starts. Is there one somewhere and I've just not seen it?

Re: Advanced Report 6.3 - Updated 23/10/2012

Trix, you mention that the cover created is named after 'AlbumID'. Where, in MM, can I find that info and is it possible to automatically populate one of the custom fields in the GUI with that albumID?

Re: Advanced Report 6.3 - Updated 23/10/2012

Hmm, I had a huge reply typed out but it didn't save. I re-ran the report (with Unicode checked, everything else was default, apart from ignoring prefixes) and got the same error. : unrecognised token: "THEN Substr(UpperW(Artists.Artist),5) ELSE UpperW(Artists.Artist)END" (1,1) and then I ...

Re: Advanced Report 6.3 - Updated 23/10/2012

Trix, there is a problem with my install of 6.3, running on MM3. The script falls over when running it when I select the 'ignore prefixes' checkbox. There's a SQL error and a 'catastrophic failure' pointing to that particular statement. I restarted MM and the problem remains. Running the script with...

Re: MM4 not adding tracks in correct order

I'm pretty sure that is provided through an addon, thus most likely the bug is within the addon. Unfortunately I don't know which addon provides this feature, but Tools > Extensions shows installed addons and may provide a clue. If you identify the addon you should report this issue in the addons o...

Re: MM4 not adding tracks in correct order

By right-clicking one of the files and choosing Play Album/Play Album now This is not a feature native to MediaMonkey. You can only right click and select Play Now which would add all files in the list to the Now Playing if play selected + subsequent is set. I'm not sure you're correct there. I've ...

Re: MM4 not adding tracks in correct order

Lowlander wrote:And how exactly did you add from the Filelisting to the Now Playing? Also were they added from the same node as the screenshot?
By right-clicking one of the files and choosing Play Album/Play Album now, and yes they were added about a second before I did that screenshot.

Re: MM4 not adding tracks in correct order

Unfortunately that is a vague answer. Which node in MediaMonkey (in Media Tree) do you see the files on the NAS? What column did you sort on in the Filelisting when viewing these files. Do the NAS files still sort incorrectly in the Filelisting when sorted on Album (or Track#)? Can you attach a scr...

Re: MM4 not adding tracks in correct order

Lowlander wrote:Do they display in the correct order in the Filelisting?
In Windows Explorer, they appear correctly whether on the NAS or on the HDD.
In MM, they are in the correct order if loaded from the HDD, but not if they're loaded from the NAS.

Re: MM4 not adding tracks in correct order

That shouldn't matter. Shouldn't matter, but it does. I've now tried it three times with three different albums. I inserted the tracks from the NAS, MM jumbles the running order up. I deleted them from MM and copied the folder to the HDD and re-inserted: they all showed in the correct running order.

Re: MM4 not adding tracks in correct order

Solved! I was downloading the tracks to a NAS and then inputting them into the library. For some reason THAT was what was causing the tracks to go out of order. If I moved that exact same folder to my PCs hard drive and adding from there, the tracks appear in the correct order. Why a NAS confuses th...
