Missing Ratings Stars

Greetings, After installing Mediamonkey on my new laptop, I notice that using ANY skin other than the default included skins shows missing ratings stars. This is the MacMaster's skin, but I have tried over 15 skins. Every skin that is on the web has this problem. The default skins that are included ...

Re: Win7shell plugin integrates Winamp with Windows 7 taskbar!

Greetings, Good discussion. Microsoft has published a spec for the jump list (feel free to bash microsoft here). Program control is supposed to be in the jumplist too. Yes you can control playback and rating from the preview image, but it needs to be in the jump list too, at least as an option. So f...

Re: Win7shell plugin integrates Winamp with Windows 7 taskbar!

MM already has this (mostly) in the latest beta version 3.1.2. When you say "mostly" this is what is missing 1. Control of play, pause, stop, forward, back and rating 2. The progress of the playing tack is no reflected in the taskbar icon with the current build 3. the icon does not change color to ...

Winamp plugin is great - works - kinda

the site for the winamp plug in is http://code.google.com/p/win7shell/ . It works perfect, but it puts a winamp icon on the taskbar and tells the system mediamonkey is winamp. But it has full configuration options, start/stop/rate from the jump list. Users can even determine what is on the jump list...

Please show progress n the taskbar icon

I know it is possible to show the progress of the playing song by a growing green section of the icon in the taskbar. Can you do that for mediamonkey?

Thanks

Jump list - please ignore mmip files

Greetings, The win7shell integration is coming along. Thanks. I would like to be able to only have songs (mp3 files) in my pull down jump list. Right now it is full of mmip files. I know this is because I just did a clean install, but I will only install these once, so why have them on the list? Tha...

Re: Tracks played on iPod not updating MM library

This is happening to me now. I have replicated it on a windows xp, windows vista and windows 7 machine. I have formatted my hard drive, installed media monkey and ten tracks and can replicate it. So, this tells me that the date of 2/4/2036 is built into the ipod firmware somehow. I can replicate it ...

Re: "Added" Dates on Ipod Erroneous - 2/4/2036????

This happens to me with my 80gig classic. I have found that the "date added" remains correct until I rebuild the database. Then all tracks are set to 2/4/2036 6:28am. This date and time must be built into the ipod firmware, somehow and when it senses corruption or does not like you, it brings out th...

Re: 2/4/2036 6:28am

ah, so it is a European format? Not February 4, 2036, but April 2, 2036? Still I am not using Linux, I am 100% on a windows system with no switching operating systems. One computer, one installation of windows.

Thanks for the input...still very strange.

Re: Windows 7 Problem

Mediamonkey is having problems recognizing your audio driver. If you upgraded from Vista, then go to your device manager and delete the driver for your audio. Then allow Windows 7 update to find a driver and install it. This has happened to me and six of my friends, and a new Windwos 7 audio driver ...

2/4/2036 6:28am

Greetings, Something in Mediamonkey is changing the "date added" of all my tracks on my ipod classic to 2/4/2036 6:28am. The "date added" of the tracks on my pc remains the same, it only effects the date on the tracks on my ipod. Has anyone ever heard of this, experienced this or knows why this is h...
