Re: MM Gold problems
I also have used MM gold for many years and had to reinstall on new machines or OS upgrades and I've never had an issue activating gold. All I can suggest is to copy and paste the code from your email. If you don't have that any more and you've written it down then you must be sure that every single...

2 Library locations for 2 users?
My wife and I have very different music tastes. I have over 500GB in my music collection on an external HDD with that particular folder selected as the library monitor folder. In a separate folder is all my wife's music and it's all crap that I never want to hear. Conversely she doesn't want to hear...

Re: How to delete old pathnames from the ripcd dialogue box destination bar
Thank you Lowlander. It took a bit of figuring out where in that document to edit and what to do but I managed it.
After making a backup copy of the file, I found the ripmasks section and deleted the lines I no longer require, renumbered the remaining ones and it seems to have done the trick.

How to delete old pathnames from the ripcd dialogue box destination bar
Occasionally during ripping cd's I have to manually enter some info to the path such as correct spelling of artist or album. I do this manually in the destination bar {C:\Users\andre\Music\<Album Artist>\<Album>\<Track#:2> - <Artist> - <Title>} But now I have a list of these that will never be requi...

Re: Now playing album art issues
Probably a combination. Music ripped from cd's will have a scanned image in the album folder that I then apply to all tracks in that album. Some downloaded stuff probably gets images automatically. Not sure about being embedded, in Options, Library, Artwork it says "save image to tag (if possible) o...

Re: CD Databases
This is also a bugbear for me. Therefore I usually use Windows Media Player to rip my discs cos it rarely has trouble finding the correct info while MM rarely does find the correct info.

Re: Auto-Start when Connecting via Bluetooth
Maybe you could try switching the car head unit to FM radio or another input before turning the engine off so that when you next start it, it doesn't automatically hunt for the last bluetooth connected device and make it do what it was doing last. Doesn't really answer your question but it's a "work...

Now playing album art issues
The box below my current playlist where album art for "now playing" should display is blank, (black). When I pause the song, the album art displays but when the current song ends and it goes to the next song it is blank again until I pause the playback again. So to see the album art for each track I...

Playing a video removes current playlist
I usually use autoDJ to play my music collection and it's great to be able to see the next five songs lined up and I get excited to hear the next one. If I double click on a video in Windows explorer or an email to watch it and the playlist disappears. Is there a way to go back to that playlist afte...

Re: Q1: sync to an SD card for transfer to tablet
Ok, disregard this question. I've solved it. I discovered that the charging cord on the Eee pad Transformer can also be used as a data transfer so connected it direct to laptop and it showed up as a device.

Re: Newbie wondering if mediamonkey can fill his needs.
MM will certainly help but I reckon the first thing you have to do is put all the music in one place, manually. Use windows explorer to find them all and drag & drop into one place such as your music folder in libraries. It's like packing your car for a camping trip. Everything you plan to take has ...
