Re: Up and down arrows in AlbumArt view

I restarted the computer, maybe it was some sort of display driver issue. It's working now.

Up and down arrows in AlbumArt view

1293: Album Art view seems much more stable and more reliable in actually. Still not getting all of the album art 100% of the time. The complaint is that the up & down arrows don't seem to work anymore. I can only scroll using the bar on the right.

Re: Any Tagging best practices guide?

Check out MusicBrainz style guide http://musicbrainz.org/doc/Official_Style_Guideline That's really the problem without a real standard. Personally I don't want disc #/names in the album field. It doesn't play nice with MM, since it treats them as separate albums. As a general guide I try to keep s...

Remote Desktop into Multiple Monitors

Computer 1 has multiple monitors. MediaMonkey is running on the secondary monitor. I remote desktop from another computer. MM is the only application that doesn't automatically jump back to be visible on the now single monitor remote desktop. To add to the problem I can't use the task bar's move fun...

Maybe it should be auto-expanded in that case???
That would work. Currently if you expand the album and then modify a track, it automatically folds back up.

Artists/Title on the Track Properties Header

Can we get the Artist and Title of a track added to the Track Properties header? The use case is that I'm in the Album Artist view and working on details (say adding Original Artists) or a custom field. I'm going through next track and get past the 7 displayed. The only way to make sure I'm still ed...

Auto-Fill and the Spacebar BUG#5262

I'm not 100% sure that I'll be able of explaining this clearly. The problem appears when you have already have an artist with a similar (normally longer version) name and you can't add the new name with a space....I know completely unclear. For example, say you have a few artists with the name Rober...

Re: Combine back and forward buttons

That makes sense. Not sure what the official terminology is, but I call the view buttons back/forward and the player buttons previous/next. You could also add drop downs to those to skip back to a previous or following track in the playlist.

Re: Combine back and forward buttons

it depends on the way you want to combine them lowlander. i can make the two buttons in one now. as a skin feature, but i can't make it work like the play / pause button that is what you need to be made from the developers. 8) I'm certainly talking about the developer solution. Combining the two bu...

Combine back and forward buttons

How about combining the back and forward buttons to a single button like Firefox 3 and IE 8? Definitely a very minor usability thing.

+1

This is one of the cooler features of Songbird. I'd like to see a similar implementation in MM.

Re: Songbird, the new competitor to MM?

I wasn't impressed with early versions of Songbird, but could see its potential (XULRunner back-end, great development community, etc). Decided to give it a whirl and am impressed with the 1.0 effort. It's not MM yet, but the gap is closing. A few pros of MM: Much more robust tagging capabilities. F...

Ignore All

I've hit this a few times. I select a large collection of music and hit choose to analyze volume. I walk away because this is fairly CPU intensive and can take some time. I come back to find that the 3rd track has DRM or corrupt and can't be analyzed and nothing else has been done. I really wish thi...

Re: User Interface bugs and enhancements

2) Why does the text box get selected all when the track changes. I'm modifying a tag, the playing music changes, and then I overwrite what I've already written. This is really frustrating. Figured out that the Pop-up Display was causing this problem. I disabled it when Mediamonkey is active and ha...

Re: Accidental deletion of Music....help!

Just had this happen to me on a folder of music. Why doesn't Mediamonkey move the files to the Recycle Bin? This really seems like the logical behavior. Plus it deleted the wrong folder. 1. Deleted a folder called "The Allman Brothers". Pressed Remove 2 times though. 2. Confirmed delete 1 ...
