Re: Podcast metadata issue - tracks not showing up in Subson

But doesn't the "kind" setting impact how the other metadata tags are written? It certainly changes the metadata dialog box.

Re: Podcast metadata issue - tracks not showing up in Subson

Narrowing the issue -- I *think* it only occurs when I change the "kind" of the track from "podcast" to "music".

Re: Podcast metadata issue - tracks not showing up in Subson

Sorry, I should be more specific about exactly what I'm doing. After receiving the TAL podcast in MM, I make some metadata edits, specifically I change the "kind" from "podcast" to "music"; and I change the album artist and artist from "Chicago Public Media" to "Chicago Public Radio"; I set the trac...

Re: Podcast metadata issue - tracks not showing up in Subson

The three most recent TAL episodes all failed for me when processed through MM but not via wget. E.g. http://www.thisamericanlife.org/radio-a ... /good-guys

I'm using subsonic + musiccabinet 0.7.24.

MM on Windows 7 64-bit, subsonic on a Debian box.

Re: Podcast metadata issue - tracks not showing up in Subson

For what it's worth, two feeds I had trouble with were This American Life and Storynory.

Podcast metadata issue - tracks not showing up in Subsonic

I've noticed a peculiar issue with 4.1.0.1685. I am subscribed to several podcasts through MM; I use MM to re-tag and then the files are copied to my local Subsonic streaming music server. Since switching to 4.1 test builds, the tracks no longer show up in Subsonic. This was never a problem with 4.0...

Re: Automatically move accompanying files and skip prompt?

As far as I know, this is still not possible. It would be great if they would add a "yes to all" option. I can't imagine it would be that hard to implement.

Re: iTunes 10.5

Figured it out -- needed to reinstall QuickTime as well, then reboot.

Re: iTunes 10.5

By the way, also tested with an older iPhone 3 still running iOS 4; still doesn't show up in MM.

Re: iTunes 10.5

Using iTunes 10.5.2.11 / iOS 5.0.1 / Windows 7 64-bit / MediaMonkey 4.0.1.1461 (gold). Never jailbroken. I was able to access the iPhone (read-only) until recently. I had to reinstall iTunes because the iPhone wasn't showing up. Since reinstalling iTunes, I can't see the iPhone in Mediamonkey. I tri...

Automatically move accompanying files and skip prompt?

Is there any way to skip the prompt to "move accompanying files" when all tracks from a folder are moved elsewhere? I sometimes do major rename/move operations, and it's tedious to have to confirm the accompanying files for every single folder. Can I skip the prompt, or somehow do this with a script?

Re: rename french accent because of linux

Thanks, that regexp find/replace preset seems to do the job perfectly. But shouldn't there be a single preset that takes care of all the diacritics, rather than having to run once on vowels and then a second time on consonants?

Re: rename french accent because of linux

I'm trying to get this to work with other extended characters -- e.g. the czech character č. But when I paste that character into the Const AccentString string in RemoveAccents it doesn't work. There is some sort of unicode problem. I've tried editing the script with gvim for Windows and also with n...

Any way to force drive letter mapping in database?

I have my music collection mirrored on a networked drive as well as a portable hard drive. The former for use at home, the latter on the road. They are both mapped as the same drive letter (depending on where I am), but of course Mediamonkey doesn't seem them as the same collection, something I woul...
