Re: "Normalizing" track volumes - negative db

Thanks for looking into it Lowlander. It's a strange one, and I think it's somehow related to what Varder sees as well as what I encounter from time to time. Thanks for the tip of using Mediainfo; I've been using ffprobe which is a bit more work. I think it's mostly related to files *outside* the li...

Re: "Normalizing" track volumes - negative db

If you copy a file in File Explorer after removing the Track Volume does it show Track Volume after scanning it in MediaMonkey? Yes - If I erase track volume in MM, and then copy the file out of the MM library and look at it in the My Computer node, it will shot Track Volume as set. Examine the sam...

Re: "Normalizing" track volumes - negative db

The fact that removing it in MediaMonkey doesn't remove it from the file may be a know fact. This is exactly what I posted about the other day as well. Actually it *does* remove it from the tag (as shown in other applications), but the database is not updated accordingly. If you move the files out ...

Deleting Track/Album volume does not change value in DB

I've posted about this before, specifically about the script I use, "Undo Analyze Volume", which I use often to unset track+album volume tags. I don't use volume levelling and I'd prefer to clear the tags for consistency. When using the script, it rightly unsets the volume tags, and updates the file...

Inconsistent Artwork node changed lately?

Hey, lately, not sure how long, maybe since the latest betas, I've noticed MMW no longer finds any entries in the "Inconsistent Artwork" node, even though I know of some albums that should probably be there. I would expect for instance albums where the album art is different sizes, or for instance V...

Re: 4.1.25.1885b - Auto-tag issues and duplicate engine

Thanks for the very informative replies especially rvonder for all the information. I must have not used it for a while, even if I seem to remember them working not too long ago. I feel silly now... and the text is right there on the page... I think one problem was the text of the "help" page...

4.1.25.1885b - Auto-tag issues and duplicate engine

Hey, since updating to the last beta (to fix the crash on tab), I've noticed the Auto-tag from web does not work as before. Specifically, the Amazon engines just show the MM help page on tagging. EDIT : I fixed the duplicate Discogs entry by deleting an old script in the MM install directory. https:...

Re: 4.1.24.1883: Access Violation in Mediamonkey.exe after rename in playlist [#15583]

Apologies for the late update - I've tested with the latest beta release and the issue appears to be solved. Will update if I discover any regression on this matter.

Thanks! :D

Re: 4.1.24.1883: Access Violation in Mediamonkey.exe after rename in playlist

Thank you Ludek and Pavle for your help on this strange crashing issue, this was indeed a rare one :D I will wait for the next beta and let you know it it's fixed. To answer your question, even though I'm sure it's not related to a multi-monitor setup; I have three monitors: 1. TV @ 1920x1080 60hz 2...

Re: 4.1.24.1883: Access Violation in Mediamonkey.exe after rename in playlist

H, could you please re-submit the error reports to the automated system with user id Pathduck or email address so that I can locate the crash logs? Thanks! Hello Ludek - I will be happy to, but do you mean the automated crash system in Mediamonkey Debug or the support/ticket system? I have submitte...

Re: 4.1.24.1883: Access Violation in Mediamonkey.exe after rename in playlist

Hello Peke, thanks for the reply.
I've already sent a couple of error reports in the automated system, have you received them on your side?

I will also send you the file as a PM in case.

Thanks!

Re: 4.1.24.1883: Access Violation in Mediamonkey.exe after rename in playlist

Below is the log from running with the Debug build. Also including log from Nirsoft 'SimpleProgramDebugger' if it helps. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1BhtVUNkv6vkzWXWn55ZV9FOcNyOh0jyM/view NOTE: When using the Debug build, triggering the error caused the bug report dialog to pop up, so I sent it ...

4.1.24.1883: Access Violation in Mediamonkey.exe after rename in playlist [#15583]

I've actually had this a long time. I figured it worth waiting for the next release before reporting it, hoping it would be fixed, as it's such an obvious bug. But not so, and maybe it's just me. I get this error after pressing F2 to rename a track in the playlist, and then pressing Tab to move focu...
