This is a bug with iPod Shuffles that often isn't recoverable. With Nano's I don't know. Check up on other Nano forums on the web.

I have completely given up on grouping by most genres in my 30,000+ file collection. The first thing I do when I get some files is to clear the genre field and replace it with either Christmas, Country, or Soundtrack and leave all others blank. Everything else just gets too confusing after a while ...

I kinda also meant support for those players. Using the Sony Software is a pain.

The problem with Big_Berny layout or indeed any layout that docks the player panel. Is that it locks the other frames to the width and height of the player panel.
