[SOLVED] Was Last.FM scrobbling removed?

Has scrobbling been removed from MMW? It used to be included and have options within the app, but I don't see it now. Is it now plugins only? And are there any plugins for anything else but Last.fm? Thanks.

Re: Can't see Main Menu Bar

I am having the exact same problem. Unwisely turned off the menu bar while trying to figure out how to turn off what I see now is called the "column bar", and now the menu bar is completely gone. I have tried the previous answers - I left and right-clicked about every pixel near the top of the MM wi...

Thanks. I guess I forget you could click on the group header, I was just looking in the subgroups of settings.

[SOLVED] Using external video player?

MM used to have an option to have the use the default system video player to play videos instead of the-built in one. I used that for a long time but had an issue and had to redownload and reinstall MM. I have looked and looked through every page of settings and can't find it again. Am I missing it?...

Re: Support Ticket Page is broken

Hmm. It would be a lot more helpful if it gave that error instead of a generic one. Thanks.

Support Ticket Page is broken

I'm trying to submit a support ticket. When I get though the whole process (attaching two files, MM.db and mediamonkey.ini), the site waits for a while and then returns the two errors below, each in its own red box at the top of the page: "We encountered a problem (cross-site request forgery detecte...

Re: In which database field does drive/device ID live for each track?

I suppose changing the drive ID itself could work, but I'm terrified about unknown side effects. What if some other app - or Windows itself! - uses drive ID as an identifier for something? I don't know why I'm having such a problem with this when it seems other people have done it. I've tried every ...

In which database field does drive/device ID live for each track?

I purchased a new computer, and I'm trying to move my MM database so that I can maintain my metadata. I've tried literally everything available to do this, including the script that supposedly does so. No matter what I try - copying, moving, relocating, using the script, and so on, I can't do it. Ev...

Re: Moving files to another drive

If you do not want to undergo waiting for Auto Organize you can try these steps. 1. Close MMW (Make sure that MMW do not monitor New HDD) 2. COPY (Not move) Your files in One Go to new HDD 3. Rename your original folder so that MMW can't find old Path (eg. c:\Music\ -> C:\1Music) 4. Start MMW 5. Se...

Re: Videos do not play in sequence in playlists

Oh, I misunderstood what you meant by "change to winamp". The good news is it works - while MM is still running. Using the "Winamp 2 or 5" setting makes it behave correctly. It calls the VLC executable and multiple files play. Unfortunately, when you launch MM again after the change, this happens: 1...

Re: Videos do not play in sequence in playlists

I installed the latest version of Winamp (5.8 beta) that is at their web site. I can't find any setting or option to select VLC or any other executable for video playing. I've looked through all the options. How do I change this? Thanks.

Re: Videos do not play in sequence in playlists

I'm sorry if I sounded harsh. The reason is that I love Media Monkey and want to use it all my media needs. I'm not angry, just disappointed that my favorite music player and my favorite video player can't interoperate. I understand that writing a new video player with all the features of VLC would ...

Re: Videos do not play in sequence in playlists

Well, it seems to me that it would be easier to spend 15 minutes looking up which system call Windows uses to launch multiple media than it would to write extra code to add one small feature (chapter support) to your existing video player. The potential exists to essentially add all the features of ...
