You can rate each song individually as well! What I tend to do is rate a couple of the tracks (if it's an album I really like!) with maybe a 5 or 4.5 star rating and then rate the album as 4 - this gives all the tracks with a unknown rating a rating of 4 (leaving the previously rated tracks). It's ...

So I guess that begs the question... is it usable yet or still just the design phase?

My "BrowseByArt" Playing node has a one-click rating system where you can rate entire albums with a single click. It's the only rating system I use! :) Unfortunatly I am a bit more picky as there are very few albums I would give a rating to all songs as a 4 or 5 star ;) Thanks though for all the ...

Would like the 1 click interface as well. I am currently taking on the daunting task of rating my 20,000+ songs. To which my Media Monkey (Gold User) has so far helped me organize and create dynamic unrated playlists for the app and my IPOD. Currently I am up to about 2,700 songs rated (2 months of ...

Audacity is a good freeware app for slicing and dicing as well. That is what I am now using. Although I agree this may be a stretch for a music organizer I still think it would be nice to be available from the Tools menu as it is akin to leveling the track volume. Wishlist link http://www ...

Uncheck the size limitation and check how many files are selected. If this is significantly more than 53GB you should experience random tracks. Make sure you recheck the size limitation afterwards. The problem might be that it's hard to see randomness on such a large selection. Maybe it's doing ...

Did you do this part: check 'show at most' and enter 4000 megabytes I actually have it checked at 53000 megabytes as I have a '60'gb IPOD with about 82gb of music that this playlist would be pulling from. The issue is that the paylist does not change once created, which may be its design but not ...

Thanks for the reply! Tried your idea and am now half way there. I filtered out my non rotational music and get 53gb of random albums for my IPOD... unfortuatly I can not figure out how to get a different random set. ... once it has created that list it does not appear to change at all each time I ...

extra synch setting - Whole albums

I have my entire collection set up by albums (very few pieces of loose music) and would like an option when synching a random subset to do it by full albums rather than individual songs.

FYI I am a lifetime registered user... not sure that it matters.
