Re: Is it possible to sort a custom header field numerically?

I want to add a vote for a custom numerical field.

Then we could use the '<' and '>' operators when creating auto-playlists. It would be neat to be able to specify a playlist with only Top Ten songs, if we were to use the field for chart positions, for example.

Thanks.

Re: Transfer VirtualCDs to regular library

Thanks Lowlander. I don' t have a strong overwhelming issue with VirtualCD. Rather it's a series of little kinks along the way that accumulate. Here are 3 random examples: At some point, MM insisted on re-encoding the tracks on VirtualCDs when I was synchronizing them on my portable player. It's no ...

Transfer VirtualCDs to regular library

Does anyone have any tips on transferring Virtual CDs to the regular library, since they're already ripped as mp3s? My main concern is not losing refences in the many static playlists I made over time. It would also be nice to keep play counts and other such information. Using move/copy doesn't work...

Re:

The album shows up in mm under d: album but it also shows up under playlist. I can't seem to figure how how to undo this avoiding having to delete all the playlists. I have the exact opposite problem. I *want* to have playlists for all my albums on my iPod Classic but they're not created. It looks ...

Thanks! My scripting skills are rudimentary and very rusty but I was determined to make the script work somehow! After changing that line, it worked great. Thanks for saving me hours of work!

Re: [MM2+3] Change Drive-ID after moving Files to a new Drive

Never mind, I figured it out. Since the DriveType for hard drives in MediaMonkey's database is "3", I made this change to this line in the script:

Set ds = SDB.DataBase.OpenSQL("SELECT * FROM Medias WHERE DriveType = 3")

Re: [MM2+3] Change Drive-ID after moving Files to a new Drive

Hi. I have a different problem with this script. Everything seems to work fine, but... In my location node, I have one HD and possibly hundreds of CDs. When I run the script, I see a bunch of my CDs on the left side, but it takes up the whole screen vertically and I can't scroll to locate my HD to s...

Playlist problem with Dell DJ

Hi guys, Have we given up on the Dell DJ? Dell themselves seem to have.... My problem is that playlists are not created when I sync albums. It stopped working from version 2.5.2 and I was kind of hoping it would eventually be fixed. Works fine when I select playlists to sync. If you need it, I can t...
