Re: Windows 10-> Profile keeps getting reset
Well, fun morning. Turns out the database and configuration files are actually stored here: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey And yes, it turns out that Webroot decided to turn on clearing Media Monkey user settings and preferences as part of its optimizations. I guess this is a known &q...

Re: Windows 10-> Profile keeps getting reset
Ugh. Woke up this morning and launched MM to have it act like I have never used it before. I tried the help link referenced, but I don't even have that directory path on my W10 install C:\Documents and Settings\-YOUR USERNAME-\Local Settings\Application Data The most similar path I could find is thi...

Re: 4.0.5 Bug: Persistent random crashes
Yeah, I have 4.06 also and have been getting random crashes for awhile. I will open 3-4 times with no issue...and then open one more time and then the computer will make a "bing" noise (sorry, that is the technical term) and then the Media Monkey Load screen will be frozen in the middle of...

Re: Burn Quality Inferior to WMP
WMP doesn't have a configuration for the volume leveling (just enable or not), so whatever the default is for that program. You are correct - by changing it to volume level for the whole album instead of by track, the static disappeared. Not sure why, but will avoid that setting in the future. Thanks!

Re: Cannnot Synchronize Playlists Since MM 4.03 Upgrade
Now this is what I call an upgrade. I have been on the verge of dumping MM after many years of use due to long library scans at startup, random crashes, and worst of all that our droid phones would never sync properly. Well, downloaded the new beta today and ALL of those issues are long gone. Workin...

Re: Playlist in Main Window 1.1 (2009-06-18)
Yes - I did find one other place where the file monitor was enabled due to the nuance of Windows file structure having those Music directories under 2 paths in MM. So glad to have this fixed - one of the main elements I use. Now, if I could just get the darned device sync to work, I could stop using...

Re: Playlist in Main Window 1.1 (2009-06-18)
Thanks so much for mostly solving this for me. For those really dumb like me, here is what I did 1) Go to C:\Program Files\MediaMonkey\Scripts\Auto 2) Open PlaylistInMainWindow (VBS File) with Notepad 3) CTRL-F for IsAutoPlaylist 4) Replace every instance of IsAutoPlaylist=0 with IsAutoPlaylist<>1 5...
