I'm having significant problems with MN 1.7.4.2 and MM 3.0.3.1140 On startup I get this error: http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/7310/error1yo9.png The comments node works, but incomplete albums node gives me: http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/5713/error2yy9.png and then MM dies with an SQLite ...

Auto select album in tree for currently playing track?

Is there a way to quickly (or automatically) have the selection in the tree jump to the album node for the currently playing track? Or even follow the tracks as they are played?

You're probably right that my solution may be worse than the problem :) It would just be nice to expand one tree node and see all of my "miles davis" albums whether solo, quartet, quintet, etc...

I do look forward to the multi-artist feature!

Thanks, the temp monitored folder is a good idea! Will save me a ton of time! Hopefully this functionality will get fixed/changed in the future-- it makes sense to me that no matter where a file is auto organized "from" since it is going into the library the monitor should pick it up!

Adding but Not Adding?

This has been a long-standing MM problem for me-- maybe there is a solution. When I use the "Auto Organize" files to add and move files from my computer to my library it only *sometimes* actually adds them to the DB so they can be found when searching, etc, though it always moves and renames them ...

Album and Album Artist for variations?

OK, so I understand, I think, how album and album artists fields work together with compilations. Could these fields be used to help group artists with many variations? For instance, I have a lot of Duke Ellington records that I would like to group under "Duke Ellington" but also, if possible ...

Most commonly recorded track (or tracks)

I'd like to find out the title that occurs most frequently in my library-- or better yet the top ten. Is there a simple way to do that? For instance, I know that I have 21 versions of "Lover Man" in my library by a search based on scanning the duplicate tracks list-- but that's a long list and I'd ...

Based on a search, it appears that MM doesn't currently support numeric custom fields... that being said, if you aren't using the BPM field you might could use that since it's numeric...

Or maybe original year, if you don't use that, but it doesn't seem to be an option when creating autoplaylists??

And you can do this from the command line with something like this:
attrib -H c:\mysongs\ /S

where c:\mysongs\ is the path to your library (no reason to have hidden files right?)

Now I'm not positive I understand your question, but here is an example. I assume you have tracks with tracks #s in the title tag so it displays like this: http://img167.imageshack.us/img167/614/libwithtracksintagvf2.gif Highlight the tags and use CTRL-T to get rid of the track number (and put it in ...

Thanks-- I needed more text to make the (now obvious) point that I could select the album tracks from a different view where auto-organize was available. Thanks for your help-- I got my whole library reorganized last night! Turned out the best way was to sort by physical location and work from there ...

You can rename the files without track numbers by highlighting the selection, choosing auto-organize (ctrl-r) and changing the mask from etc/<Track#> - <Title> to etc/<title> Auto-organize is very powerful this way... but try it out on one group at a time until you have the hang of it. Also, I would ...

On this topic is there a way to jump to the track that is currently playing in the album artist context rather than the "now playing" list?

I do know of and use MonkeyRok, but I am curious :)
