Re: Track/File Info as Tooltip
Okay, after restarting I actually do get what I want in the now playing window when switching on the mentioned tooltip options. I thought, I did get something similar in the library browser as well. So in fact it is no additional script. I am wondering though, why it did not work before. Thanks, locu.

Re: Track/File Info as Tooltip
Thanks, this is what I thought and tried but it gives me a only the information I am pointing at and if a long filename is obscured in this way I get the full filename for example. However I remember something that gave kind of all the information regarding one file in one tooltip (e.g. title, artis...

Track/File Info as Tooltip
I remember that my MediaMonkey once provided lots of information on a given track as a tooltip, when hoovering above it in the library, which is very useful if you use only a small screen and do not want to scroll all the way to the columns usually not so important. After a new installation and some...

Default View "Recently Added Content"
Hello, I noticed and am quite annoyed by the fact, that MediaMonkey is constantly changing back the "view" of the generated playlists for recently added content to "show details". I'd like to switch it to "show art with details" in order to make sure newly added content...

Re: Monkey Rok 4.1 [MM2+3]
I have a problem with MonkeyRok and artists including the character ' leading to the following error message: "There was a problem querying the database: Error executing SQL "SELECT Id FROM Artists WHERE Artist='stereo mc's'" : near "s": syntax error (1, 1)" As sth. sim...

Re: Fail to play Album Track 1 from Server Share
After a restart of the system the problem has not appeared. Unfortunately though, as I just wanted to try to figure out, what is keeping windows from accessing these particular files using process monitor. As I wrote before the behavior did not seem to be related to MediaMonkey itself but rather Win...

Re: Fail to play Album Track 1 from Server Share
I am using Vista and the File Server is running on Debian Etch. It does require login and I need to provide this to MediaMonkey whenever I restart the Vista machine. However, as I can play all the other tracks of the discussed albums and access the files using the network share, I guess this issue i...

Fail to play Album Track 1 from Server Share
Recently I noticed repeatedly that my Monkey fails to play the first track of several albums from my network server share. The tracks are there and readable (if I move them to the local harddrive, I can play them without any problems) and the path stored in the library is correct, too. However, if I...

Re: Last.FM Handshake failure
I recently realized that I have problems with the handshake with the old winamp audioscrobbler. I updated to 3.1 and installed the new native scrobbler (1.0.2.14). However, the handshake failure still occured. As the behavior hadn't changed, I first disabled my firewall. As this did not help, I thou...

Exactly, there is the option to skip silence at the beginning/ending of tracks, if I remember correctly something similar was possible for within a track semi-automatically in MM2. When you had a large piece of silence within a track, as it often happens with hidden tracks, you could simply drag the...

Silence within track/hidden track
Hello there, with MM 2 you simply needed to drag the position slider for a little bit and it successfully managed to skip the entire block of silence. This is not working with MM3 and I ask myself why. Did I use some kind of plug-in with MM2 to achieve this or was it a basic feature? Even better of ...

As far as I remember RadioFreeMonkey used the last played and/or playcount properties of each track when generating the playlist to prevent certain tracks from being played again to quick. I have no idea how exactly this was implemented, but for me it always seemed to work quite well. I don't know i...

As I don't like to rate songs the first time I actually listened to them, I did a little modification to this script which actually considers the playcount of the played song as well. This way I get the popup after listening to the song the second time. Simply replace: If PreviouslyPlayedSong.Rating...

On my question I actually have now more than 70% of my music on removable drives. I know that when you do an autoplay list one of the selection criteria is if the track is accessable. But not being a scriptor, (yet) I don't know all the ins and outs of MM. I have a similar problem and think there s...
