Re: How to retrieve lifetime license (gold)?

After many tries I got in to Element5 (10 years old work e-mail - ouch - can't even change it there) - can't see the key anywhere, I give up. Move on. Goodbye MM.

Thanks for everything.

How to retrieve lifetime license (gold)?

...guess I need it to reinstall MM - it's not working...

But it's 10 years ago I bought MM - I have no clue what the license is... Will I have to re-buy...? Hope not.

iPhone with latest iOS (9.3.1) not connecting with MM?

Haven't used MM with my iPhone for a long time. Today I attached it - but I have no luck connecting. I use iOS 9.3.1 on my 6s.

Updating MM on my Lenovo with latest beta only produces loads of 'code 5' errors.

What to do?

Re: Problem with updating MM

Thanks. I'll stick to my old version then. Seems way to difficult for me. I have been using MM for many years and have never had this problem before.

Problem with updating MM

I am prompted to update my MM. I currently use 4.1.3.1708 on a Win7 laptop.

When I try to update using the latest beta version found in the forum I constantly get error messages (delete file failed code 5 ...).

Any suggestions?

Auto-organize files not working

Suddenly I am told the 'directory needed can not be created' (folder creation on my NAS)... it's been working for a year but now the (brilliant) 'auto-organize files' produces this error message. Must be some setting on my NAS-folder...?

Re: Auto organize problem....

Gave up. I am now copy-pasting the files to the correct folders. Haven't got a clue why that is possible and the auto-organize is not...

Re: Auto organize problem....

Logged in as administrator, went to the folder, right-clicked - and allowed everything I could find under security. Didn't help - MM is not allowed to auto-organize the songs like I want them... they are put in the 'unknown' folder. Strange. 0,5% of my songs...

MediaMonkey may lack rights to create new folders.
Can I give MM these rights?

Re: Auto organize problem....

I discovered the 200 tracks have different values in the album artist field (NOT 'unknown'!) but still the corresponding folder is 'unknown'. When trying to force MM to auto-organize the tracks it looks correct when MM suggests old and new path - but hitting OK get's me 'directory can not be created...

Auto organize problem....

I auto-organize my 55.000 tracks like this: Y:\Musik\<Album Artist>\<Album>\<Track#>. <Title>

But around 200 tracks with album artist 'Diverse kunstnere' are organized in the folder 'Unknown'... how can that be? Mediamonkey refuses to organize them in the folder 'Diverse kunstnere'.
