You're supposed to edit Mediamonkey.ini and Move MM.DB. The instructions seem very clear to me. What exactly are you having trouble with?

Windows won't let me open C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Local Settings\Application Data\MediaMonkey\MM.DB
Looks like i'm stuck with one MediaMonkey then.

I would like to add to Nohitter's instructions, install MM into two separate directories and use these instructions to change the default location of the db and ini files. Forgive me if I misunderstood but I assumed you wanted to have different tracks in each database. If you want to just have two ...

Two Versions

Is it possible to run two versions of MediaMonkey? I have a lot of compilation albums and when thay are loaded into MediaMonkey it makes it kind of messy. So. ideally i'd like to have a seperate player for them.

How many songs

Just new to Mediamomkey after using iTunes for a while. How many songs can Mediamonkey cope with before slowing down etc as iTunes did when I hit 20000.
All help appreciated.
