Re: Folder art --> metadata art automatically when converted?

Thanks, lowlander I'm not sure how all of this works.. I am getting the artwork when I convert from Flac to mp3, so maybe it isn't a problem, except, like you said, when I have a larger size image that is 1200x1200 that ends up being about 200kb instead of only about 20kb if it's about 500x500. Some...

Folder art --> metadata art automatically when converted?

I have a huge collection of MP3 music and FLAC music from ripped CDs, etc. Most of these have artwork in the folder with the album with the folder.jpg name. A lot of it I scanned myself from the CD covers, etc. and they are 1000x1000 to 1200x1200. I make playlists of favorite music selections based ...

Re: Surround/Synthised Sound for synced or burned audio?

Sorry I wasn't clear. Until I actually installed the app and tried it, I didn't know if it would work. I can play music I have synchronized from MM over to my iPhone using Boom and I can also send with music to other Bluetooth devices with the Boom effects working, but they are not very impressive. ...

Re: Surround/Synthised Sound for synced or burned audio?

Peke: Not sure what you mean, but I went into my iPhone and reread the restriction in the app listing which I had vaguely remembered reading and it actually said, "Note: Technical restrictions prevent Boom to support live streaming tracks." In the description of the app they specifically say it's fo...

Re: Surround/Synthised Sound for synced or burned audio?

Thanks everyone. I play back music on my 2 smallish Klipsch THX PC speakers using the Sound Blaster DTS Neo-PC setting and it really enhances and opens up the music. I guess the only way to get that effect in my car would be to record with the effects using my copy of Adacity and then burn that reco...

Surround/Synthised Sound for synced or burned audio?

I have MM 4.1.2.1864 I would like to be able to easily add a surround sound effect to favorites lists I burn to CDs for use in the car, or to SD cards I use in portable players, or to ones I transfer to my iPhone for bluetooth playback on portable speakers, in the car, etc. My Sound Blaster SBX Pro ...

Re: Music with Visulization Possible on network?

OK, thanks, by client, I guess you mean the TV or AVR or BT player built in program that displays the music with album cover art and has the DLNA capability?

Music with Visulization Possible on network?

Was just wondering if there is any way to get a screen visualization displayed with the music through the MM media server to a TV/AV Receiver on the network.

Re: Backup 6.0 - Updated 01/07/2014

I don't really need for it to create an archive of the backup, so will just back up the files with the script, which is working fine the way it is. Thanks, everyone for the help. Really nice addition to MM

Re: Backup 6.0 - Updated 01/07/2014

Well.. I already have the free 7-Zip utility installed on my computer and I really like it as it handles everything I want and I've been using it for years. http://www.7-zip.org/ Can I just copy the .dll for it over to the MM Scripts folder, and do the registry path command line to it, or to where i...

Re: Backup 6.0 - Updated 01/07/2014

Before I mess with the registry (cringe)... does that XZip.dll have to be in the scrips folder? Couldn't I just copy it over to that scripts folder, or would having two of them cause problems?

Thanks,

Re: Backup 6.0 - Updated 01/07/2014

Thanks again, everyone. I still can't get the archive feature to work, I tried to register the dll with the command path line but it can't find XZip.dll in that location. My MM is in (X86) folder, so I changed the path to that but it can't find that dll. Hunting in Windows I did find XZip.dll here: ...
