Re: Please fix bit-perfect gapless playback

The only thing selected in DSP is Output Format. Prebuffering is set to 6 seconds and files are played from memory instead of disk.
I've never been able to get WASAPI working with the Profire. I can't speak to the technical issues, I can only say that I don't hear any audible dropouts between tracks.

Re: Please fix bit-perfect gapless playback

It's a bit more complicated than that. I use a firewire interface (M-Audio Profire 610) to connect my notebook PC to my external DAC so I can get full 24/192 capability. I'm running Windows 7 on the PC but there's no Windows 7 driver for the optical out port so I'm forced to use an older driver but ...

Re: Please fix bit-perfect gapless playback

Unfortuantely WASAPI is not an option for me due to the hardware that I use. I have to use ASIO because my computer to DAC interface device does not support WASAPI. I hope that the MM developers address this issue or I'll continue using JRMC which is actually a pretty decent product in many ways, es...

Please fix bit-perfect gapless playback

My number one wish list item for Media Monkey is to improve the quality of bit-perfect playback. I know that many users only play MP3 files and that’s fine but I have all my 50,000+ files in FLAC format and many of those are hi-res (96K, 192K, etc.). In addition I have invested a great deal of money...

Re: Problem Displaying Album column [#8260]

That seems to be the issue. I hadn't noticed that before. Thanks.

Problem Displaying Album column [#8260]

Came across a weird one this morning. I'm attempting to view files through the My Computer tree node. I navigate to the location where I have a ton of new FLAC files that I want to change the Genre tag on. The files have already been edited to include Artist, Title, Album, etc. I can view all of the...

Re: ASIO Help

MM3 Monkey is right. You need to install 7zip which is a great free utility that everyone should have on their system anyway. I just finished installing this plugin myself yesterday. After installing 7zip, right click on the downloaded add-on file, find the 7zip option and choose extract here or ext...

Re: Does MM support 24 bit encoded files?

OK, thanks. I thought the problem might be hardware related.

Does MM support 24 bit encoded files?

I recently recorded a vinyl LP at 24/96 and I also downloaded a record from Lynn Records that was also encoded in 24 bit 96KHz. The one I recorded myself is in WAV format and the LINN download was FLAC. When I played the files rhrough my Cambridge Audio DACMagic it recognized the files at only a 48K...

What happened to the File Type column?

I haven't been watching the recent builds as closely but is this a recent change? I found this to be a really useful field because I have a library with multiple file types so I would sometimes need to sort on that field to make sure I had the right files in the right directories. Is it gone for good?

Re: Cannot save property changes on tracks

I was accessing the tracks for the playlists, specifically the playlists generated for recently added files. I also have more info. I ran an add/rescan files to pick up any other new files. After running the scan I tried accessing the newly added files again through the same playlists (the newly add...

Cannot save property changes on tracks

Trying to change the genre on a track. The dialogue box opens. I can access the fields within the dialogue box and change them but when I click on OK to save the changes nothing happens and if I click on Cancel to close the dialogue box nothing happens. So basically I'm now stuck with an open File p...

Double click action not working

This is for build 1348. In the Player options I set the default double-click action for when tracks are playing to "Play Now" but when I attempt to execute it there is no response, the track that is currently playing continues to play. If I right-click on the track and click on Play Now it...
