Re: New Android User Question(s)
Argh---I'm still having issues --- I've got the external drive connected, in my Library Folders screen I can see an Internal Storage/Music option w/a + after it. I click the plus (+) and can see all my artist/album folders, and at the top of the screen it shows the name of the USB as: devi USB Drive...

New Android User Question(s)
I use MM on my Windows pc w/no problems and I like it a lot. Finally decided to get the phone app and ran into a question in setting it up: I have my files on an external drive that connects to my phone. I can't find any menu option that lets me point/synch to that external drive to find the files o...

Quick Question(?) --Queueing Playlists?
Is there a way to set up playlists to play one after the other? For example, I add playlist 1 to now playing, but can I somehow set it up to automatically play playlist 2 once 1 is finished with all the songs in it? I realize this may be a long shot and it's really no big deal to manually do this on...

Re: Editing Playlist Question
Can someone please offer some help with this? I've managed to save the playlist as an M3U file, and I saved it in the folder i normally house all my other music in when I use the Add/Rescan option to add more music to MM. But when I go there, the playlist file isn't found for me to scan it into MM--...

Updating MM on an External Hard Drive
When I've opened MM on my external drive, I'm getting the popup indicating a new version is available. However when I go to download it, I select the 'portable' option from the one window --- but this ends up creating what then opens as a 'new' version of MM without all my existing music, playlists ...

Editing Playlist Question
HI I have my portable mp3 player (creative) with multiple playlists on it. When I plug it in, MM recognizes it and I can find the playlist I'm looking for in the My Playlists tree, and when I click it, MM displays all the songs on it (so far so good) My question is: if I right click a track to (hope...

Re: Transfer all music files to external drive

Re: Transfer all music files to external drive
You need the database MM.db and your media files. I'd leave everything else. A guide: http://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index.php/Moving_MM_to_a_new_computer Sorry, but I'm still lost---the database file and all the others I mentioned are already on the external drive. I can plug the ext. drive into ...

Re: Transfer all music files to external drive
Help! My laptop crapped out on me, but luckily I had created a backup file of MM on an external drive prior to this. I'd like to (as mentioned above) just run it from the external drive from now on but I have some questions. I see the db file in the folder labeled media monkey backup which also has ...
