Re: MM5 is a disappointing "fail" for a just-click-to-navigate user

Hi staff, hi Barry, because of Barry i changed the current language of MM5 from german to english. This way i could follow what Barry is pointing out (okay, it makes it easier for me too to give my little input). Yes, Barry's contributions need a hell of time to read. So i understand the staff not t...

Re: Thoughts about the 2182 release

Goof morning,

coming home from work yesterday evening i (have) installed the 2183 alpha and .... all problems seem to be gone. Especially no crashes while editing the properties. Stable again. Thanks.

Re: Thoughts about the 2182 release

Hello Peke, i can't remember the id log numbers, but there is an empty "MediaMonkeyEngine.el" in the folder c:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\EurekaLab s.a.s\EurekaLog\Bug Reports\ which has the time stamp of 11:16 of yesterday (sunday). Afterwards i went back to 2181. I will load the 2183 and rep...

Thoughts about the 2182 release

Hi there, by changing from 2181 to 2182 two features that i liked very much are missing. the wav form bar as navigation in the player section and the posibility to get a playing list in the middle panel when clicking on the playing list in the right panel. What it does now is a step back for the lis...

Re: Minor issue with Search field, confirmed still present in 2173

Hi there, I can confirm (and replicate) the behaviour Lancer talked about. It occurs with the global search and it is very annoying. I am able to type three maybe five letters and then the focus is lost. And if i remember right, Barry told about it too in an earlier posting about search issues. gree...

Re: Text wrap in summary column

I would like to join the circle and say that i support the ideas of gamb and Barry. Up to now i don't use the summary column for the told reasons. But i would :-).

Re: Crash when trying to add a new field

I can confirm the behaviour when editing the exended tags. I cannot create a new one nor edit an existing tag. And like Snofru i had to kill the entire mm5 with the task manager.
MM5 beta 2164 here too.

Re: Views - Album & Tracks

Same thoughts here on my side. To be honest i was too lazy to sum up all the odd situations. Zonky mentions a few of them now. Like Zonky I can't see a logical line to follow when i navigate through the media tree. It seems to be a result of luck which formats of views are choosable. It is getting e...

Question: The date tags and their content

MM5 offers two different fields for date information. These are "date" and "original date". To be found in the properties dialogue on the basic tab. What are the corresponding tags in the id3 language? When i examine the id3tag conventions there are several tags through the history from id3tag v2.2 ...

Feature Request · Art View and/or Album grid view for the search results

Hi there, when i am searching for a specal classical work via "STRG + F" i get the results in a view containing the album art and further information. The View is called "album and tracks". What i don't get is a simple overview like the "art view" (all album art side by side) or a views like album g...

Re: 'Find more from same ... folder (explorer)' opens in the background

Hi there,

today i did an all new installation of alpha 2138 (after deleting my old alpha installation folder completely losing my auto-playlists and my individual hotkeys ... *sigh*). BUT at least the explorer window does open in the foreground.

greetings
