Warning dialog for removing missing files is misleading

I had a bunch of missing, grayed out files that I wanted to remove. I had a working copy of all the files in another drive. When I went to delete all the grayed out database entries, it asked me: "Are you sure you want to delete 2314 files?" Which is kind of scary. I picked one of them and...

Re: Global Media Keys Don't Work

That setting doesn't help. The play/pause key still doesn't work in VS.

Re: Global Media Keys Don't Work

Hmm, okay. But why can't you use the same API that Spotify is using that allows it to play/pause while VS is running?

Re: Global Media Keys Don't Work

I noticed that MediaMonkey ignores the play button when Visual Studio is active, but Spotify hears it. Spotify also hooks into the native Windows "Now playing" overlay UI. It also seems to behave better when both MediaMonkey and Spotify are open: MediaMonkey in foreground and Spotify in ba...

Re: Memory leak in 4.0.7.1511 and 1672

An update: I got a response from the support ticket and resolved the issue. Apparently the tab for my podcast thought it had 300,000 items and was trying to generate art for the art browser for all of them. Weird since that podcast has maybe 300 items and my whole music library has 3000. In any even...

Re: Memory leak in 4.0.7.1511 and 1672

I'm not using any addons. I've submitted a support ticket and attached the DbgView log.

Re: Memory leak in 4.0.7.1511 and 1672

Okay I've submitted a few crash reports on 1672 and linked to this topic. I don't know which ones went through because it can give 2-3 crash report windows consecutively (and I am left wondering if the crash reporter crashed).

Re: Memory leak in 4.0.7.1511

I spoke too soon. This is also happening in 4.1.0.1672. Going to install the debug version and see if this actually succeeds in generating an error report.

Re: Memory leak in 4.0.7.1511

http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=69 Yes, I read that. That's why I downloaded the debug version and tried to get the error report. Is there something in particular that I missed? RandomEngy, I could be really off here but I don't think you should be running 4.0.7. anything o...

Memory leak in 4.0.7.1511 and 1672

I boot up MediaMonkey and start listening to some podcasts and the memory usage climbs until it hits around 3GB, then it crashes. I've installed a debug build to try and report the error but I can't tell if it's getting through. It just seems to spawn another error report dialog after I try to send ...

Re: Accessing Music on SkyDrive

I'm having this issue too, though I'm pointing to C:\Users\name\SkyDrive\Music . It apparently doesn't like the stubs that Windows leaves there. This is kind of annoying because the Skydrive app that actually syncs up files (the way I want it to) is getting discontinued in Windows 8.1. They're provi...

Re: Windows Phone 8

Yeah I'm trying to get MediaMonkey to sync from Win8 but when I browse the files on the phone it doesn't have a drive letter. So it doesn't exactly seem it's a USB mass storage device.

Re: Four cheers for MM4!

Heck yeah. Updated to MM4 recently and was very pleased. The old slightly odd-colored skin was replaced by a nice clean Win7 look. I had made some modifications to the old Glided skin, most notably cleaning up some buttons, widening the bar and removing the playbar "nub". The new skin does...
