Re: Clearing TracksWindow and adding tracks by ID
That makes sense. Or maybe there's just not enough time for it to work. I'm beginning to see that this won't be as simple as I'd hoped. Anyway, thanks for the ideas.

Re: Clearing TracksWindow and adding tracks by ID
When I put just this line from twinbee's post into a simple non-auto script, executing the script produced the desired effect of clearing the Track Window. SDB.MainTree.CurrentNode = SDB.MainTree.Node_Library However, I can't figure how to get it to work as part of an auto script. I tried putting it...

Re: How to clear playlist and player?
Are you talking about clearing the Now Playing list, or the track listings? In Tools > Options > Auto DJ/Now Playing you can set Now Playing to retain 0 tracks so that played tracks are cleared. I'm not aware that the user can change the display behavior of the player to not show the track informat...

How to clear playlist and player?
Is there a way to clear the playlist when it's not in view?
Is there a way to clear the player's track info display when it's stopped and the playlist is empty?

Re: Clear Track List?
You can try Trixmoto's Clear Now Playing script. Follow the instructions on how to set it up to clear all. Nyn Thanks, nyn. I just tried that, but it seems to only clear the play list. There are some ideas at http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=30990 that I may try when I have time.

TweakMonkey and MagicNode with MM3?
I love my MM2.5 and would like to upgrade to MM3, but I dread digging through the developer forum again to find the scripts for the customization I want. All I need is for the library pane to show a couple of custom nodes and no other clutter. The nodes I want are Genre/Artist/Album and Artist/Album...

Can't log in to support page.
I'm trying to submit a support ticket to get an upgrade code for my gold 2.x license, but the support login doesn't recognize my username/password. Is this a catch-22?

Re: It does! [Sansa]
Music can be put into the Sansa in nested folders (I've tried up to 4 deep). When the unit is disconnected from the computer it will shut down, then restart briefly to scan through all the folder-tree and index all the artists/titles/etc from the ID3 tags to rebuild its internal database. When you'...

newbie question: browse by Album Artist?
I'm in the process of ripping my 25-year CD collection and shopping for my first digital music player, and find myself with one burning question: Are there any mp3 devices that will support a browsing hierarchy of Genre>Album_Artist>Album, rather than forcing me to use Genre>Artist>Album or some oth...

Can't hide Net Radio node with TweakMonkey installed
With TweakMonkey installed, unchecking "Show Net Radio node" in Options>Appearance>Tree has no lasting effect. The node disappears when the option is changed, but comes back the next time MM starts. Is this a new problem, or have others seen it and dismissed it as trivial? Anybody care to speculate ...

TweakMonkey causes error if My Computer node is hidden
Unchecking "Visible" for "My Computer" on the TweakMonkey>Tree Node Options page causes MM to generate the following error message while closing: "Access violation at address 0063460D in module 'MediaMonkey.exe'. Read of address 00000000." The session during which the option is changed closes OK, bu...
