Re: MM3 extremely slow when indexing files through network

I'm not sure I saw your log, maybe it didn't get to me. Anyway, as I think about it again, try the following: 1. Copy some of the files to your local drive to check out whether it's that slow because you are scanning them over network. 2. Make sure you have the latest WM components (http://www.medi...

Artist Summary

Hi all, Is there any addon/component out there today that would allow me to create a library node that would essentially be an artist summary. Essentially we have comment today on a per mp3 basis that can serve to describe the specific album that it is located on. What this could be used for is to g...

Re: Data Sync question / request / script query

Sync the Sync seems to be working well for a few albums that I've been testing with. My questions now are: - how large can i make my playlists, can they incorporate one's entire collection; ie thousands of songs - what happens when there are multiple versions of songs within the library; how is the ...

Re: Data Sync question / request / script query

That is why I was thinking Track Backup would meet your needs, once you finish your editing, you could complete a backup on those tracks, they should show up in the "Tracks Changed Since Last Backup" node. Nyn What is the nature of "complete a backup on those tracks", this means to me that you copy...

Re: Data Sync question / request / script query

I'm not sure if either of these scripts will give me the editing capability I'm looking at... Database(1) formed from files on PC1. Database(2) formed from files on PC2. Is there a way to edit the files on PC2 pushing the tags that I've edited on Database(1)... and how is that done? Or do I have to ...

Data Sync question / request / script query

All, I am wondering if something exists today in the library of scripts that the generous developers have contributed to date. My situation is as follows: I currently have a MM audio collection on my HTPC in which I build a library from. In order to protect myself I do daily backups (delta backups) ...

Re: Beta 2: Logitech G15 display still doesn't work perfect

I'm seeing something wierd.. I installed wvs_03014-mediamonkey-setup within my MM/plugins directory. When I use my volume button on the G15 it still wants to control the volume on MM, Shift+volume also works. But what this is causing though is for me not to be able to flip thru the various WVS menu...

Apply button vs Ok button

I'd like to see something like the following... it would greatly improve how we could edit our album art across multiple albums. Steps as follows: - open up the nodes as per album view - highlight all of your files in the album - Go into properties (shift-enter) - next select the album art tab - thi...

What type of files you try to tag? Can you please wrote your LAN Specs and NAS Model so that we can investigate. I Just Tested to Sync tags on My Computer From Network one and it takes only few seconds per file on 100Mbit Network. I see similar performance issues even when I try to tag a file from ...
