script error problems

Thought I'd post a solution for the weird script error problems I'd been having with various scripts including the AutoRate script and the Batch Art Finder. I wondered if the problem was happening because MM was installed on a drive other than the %SYSTEMDRIVE% partition. I uninstalled MM and the sc...

The MediaMonkey of photo managers? I think not

The MediaMonkey of photo managers? I think not. Picajet has a pretty interface, but otherwise, it is a disaster. The really stupid thing about picajet is that it does not use the standard Metadata that is stored in the photos. Therefore, you cannot migrate existing date to or from PicaJet. This is e...

I disabled the volume control in the MM\Options\Player\Output Plug-ins\WaveOut settings and that fixed the problem. This disabled volume control inside MM, but that's OK for me with this method of using the mouse for volume control.

MM ROCKS!! :)

Actually, I guess thanks should go to Vyper for posting this.

An odd thing though, I'm finding that after I use Volumouse to set the volume, the volume level is reset when MM goes to the next song. :(

Dang! Steegy - you are good! This solves the problem of the SPDIF output not responding to the Master Volume control.

This MediaMonkey forum is TOO GOOD!

Sure looking forward to the next version of MM.

THANKS!!

I've found that the following sort of works to do this: Super playlists|child of:genre|icon:top level|filter:rating>=3\<time since last played>\<genre|left of:->\<genre|right of:->\<album artist>\<album|sort by:max(year)> With this, it's a matter of expanding the <time since last played> field, and ...

magic node-list songs that have not been played for a while

Hi folks! I'm trying to figure out how to create a magic node that will list songs for each genre that I have not played for some time (say, for 20 days). The following script does all the other things I want except it does not exclude songs I've recently heard: playlists|child of:genre|icon:top lev...

tags not saved in small wav files

Anyone know why tags are not being saved in small wav files? I tagged a load of them, and somewhere along the way, all the tags dissappeared. This has happened a few times.

Any ideas?

Thanks!!

No joy. Thanks for trying to help though. I think the instructions for the script are too esoteric to follow. I'm goiing to move all the files back to the original drive and then use MediaMonkey to move them. That's probabaly what I should have done in the first place, rather than try to piece toget...

Thanks, I'm trying the script, but I get an error: Error #438 - Object doesn't support this property or method: 'label.multiline' I wonder if the problem is this: I didn't follow this step because I don't know what "(Archive -> Location) " means: '4. Make sure every Device (harddrive) has a Label (A...

remapping the Volume ID of drive - how to convert serial #

I moved my files to a new drive and now: "The drive has been changed and the new drive has a Volume ID that differs from the old drive" I'm trying to follow the instructions which say: From the command line, type DIR and note the Volume ID of your new drive. Open Microsoft Access and modify the valu...

The AutoPlaylist.vbs script hangs the computer for 1 minute

For months I've been stumped as to why MM would hang the entire computer for 1 minute on startup. CPU would peg at 100% for nearly a minute. I thought it was because I had a lot of songs (1600) Today I found the problem. I removed the AutoPlaylist.vbs script from the \Program Files\MediaMonkey\Scrip...

The strange this is that sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't.
I just exported a playlist and the network locations were mapped correctly using \\servername\sharename\songname .

Can't figure out why. ???

Exported playlist uses non-standard ..\..\..\..\ format

When I export a playlist, any songs that are on a network share are addressed in the playlist using the following non-standard non-URL format: ..\..\..\..\sharename\songname A typical M3U playlist should use the following standard URL format: \\servername\sharename\songname Of course, no other playe...
