Re: Media Monkey "File Properties" dialog is corrupted.

Thanks Man! This is a new OS install so that makes sense. I'll try updating my video driver.

Media Monkey "File Properties" dialog is corrupted.

It happens for all files. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I even tried installing the Beta and get the same issue. This is on a new Windows 7 installation (1 day old). Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Re: Win 7 UAC everytime

same problem here - in W8. And MM wants to start when W8 starts. I can't figure out why. I've looked at all of the Startup locations by using the Runalyzer app and I can't figure out why MM autoruns. So I have to hit the UAC dialog every time the computer starts. Love M but this problem really sucks.

Re: Backup Playlists 2.2 - Updated 18/10/10

I've tried many things to get this script to work but I get failures and\or errors each step of the way.

Can anyone recomend a way to backup and import autoplaylists that doesn't require a degree an physics to get it working?

Re: Double-clicking the title bar ends MediaMonkey

Was there a regression? IT appears this behavior is occurring again. I'm running 4.0.7.1511, and double-clicking the title bar ends MediaMonkey when MM is on the second monitor. It doesn't happen if MM is on the main monitor.

Thanks,

Re: Last.fm Scrobbler help

I don't see why it's needed, it's not different from any other addon. Double click to install and configure it in the MM options. Seems too straightforward to need any documentation. It wouldn't need any documentation if it worked, but it doesn't work for me or apparently for a number of other peop...

Re: Last.fm Scrobbler help

More convoluted and confusing steps just to try to get help. Would it be possible to get a help file or a simple document that explains how to install and configure the add-on? Don't get me wrong -- I really do appreciate that the app is there - for free yet. It's great that it's available and I hat...

Re: Last.fm Scrobbler help

I can't get this to work, but I'm probably not doing something right. Is there an actual document posted explaining all the secret handshakes? How do you know if it's even working? I don't see any tracks I've recently played appear on the Web page. Even something so simple as knowing how to use the ...

Re: Playback stops when screen times out

I think this has been fixed in one of the MM RT updates. It no longer happens to me.

Re: MediaMonkey for Windows 8 Metro App

I second that "This is the best looking app in it's category". Nice job! Has anyone tested to see if you can add music tracks from an SD card to MM RT without having to engage the hackery described here? http://winsupersite.com/article/windows8/surface-tip-microsd-content-libraries-metro-apps-144658...

Can some smart and kind person please help me to make this work in Magic nodes? IT worked long ago in an earlier version but I can't make it go any more.

<album and artist|top:70 percent|sort by:avg(played)|sort order:asc>

Many thanks!

Re: MediaMonkey for Windows 8 Metro App

Darryl_Gittins, by default, MM8 is scanning system Music and Video folders. System somehow added your server to this system Music folder (it's actually not a folder, but group of folders). Solution is to remove Music from folders to scan and move your media to any custom folder (like c:\MyMedia) an...

Playback stops when screen times out

Is this a known issue? Maybe it's something on my Windows 8 RT tablet? Is there a setting for this? If I use the Windows 8 Music app, music will continue to play when the screen times out and goes blank. However, with MM for RT, the playback stops when the screen times out. I have to keep touching t...

Re: MediaMonkey for Windows 8 Metro App

Darryl_Gittins, open artist view (for example), select artist and tap on 'Delete' button in bottom app bar. Thanks, but that would take a long time. Much faster to uninstall then reinstall. Another odd thing about this is that there are videos on the same Windows Home Server computer in the \users\...
