Re: iOS 4.3 beta with MM4 or MM3?

... but I think I saw an Apple iPhone developer in the forum's who would do some testing with beta iOS's and report back. The iOS dev just needed a version of MM that was more flexible in what iOS version it could use. I am on the forum just about every day and I have not seen such a post about iOS...

Re: iOS 4.3 beta with MM4 or MM3?

Is anybody testing iOS 4.3 beta with MM4 or MM3? The iOS 4.3 code is available to developers, and was wondering if anybody has tried it? Rumours are strong iOS 4.3 will be released soon and I'd like to know if it will work with either the current release version or the beta version of MM. Just base...

Re: DLNA Experience - Sony KDL-55HX800

My Sony TV, KDL-55HX800 does not "see" MM4 (1345). It also does not "see" XBMC. The Sony TV has a NETWORK DIAGNOSTIC menu option, and when I run that, the TV then lists MM4 and XBMC, but with a status of "failed" I have collected a debug log of starting MM4, turning the Sony TV on, doing a network d...

1345: DLNA and WD TV Live does not see playlist content

I just posted this to the tech support ticket system... Hi, in MM4 1345 with my WD TV Live as a client, when I open the playlist folder, and select the "Favorites - 1 Audio CD Worth (74 Min)" playlist, the WDTV shows the message "There is no media in the current folder". This does not happen with an...

Sony PS3 now does.

Re: 1343: DLNA and PS3 not working

could you please try whether it works with XBMC or tVersity ? Yuck, XBMC is awful. OK, that aside, my PS3 works better with XBMC then it does with MM4. Still not flawless. With the PS3 I can actually connect to the XBMC server and browse the library and nodes. I can also select and play songs. What...

Re: Play Counts when playing via DLNA [#7086]

Having now used 1343 with my WD TV Live to play music, I can confirm that play counts and last played date are now updated. Thanks. Further to the skipping discussion, I have already experienced this with my WD TV Live. I skipped a track that I was listening to (for only 30 secs) that was 3 minutes ...

1343: Can not descending sort for playlists [#7096]

When I try to press the A..Z button for Sort Order in an Advance Auto-Playlist, it does not change/toggle the sort order to be descending.

3.2.4.1304 is not 4.0.0.1343

The latest beta doesn't seem to be v4? It's labeled as 3.2.3.1304, with the previous beta labeled as 4.0.0.1342.
Upon install, it had no music and the settings required to be set again. (System has never had 3.x installed on it).
Can't see any DLNA or video stuff either.

Re: Play Counts when playing via DLNA [#7086]

Added this to http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=7086 so that we can investigate. There are actually 2 other problems: 1) Some clients seek end of file for another reason than playback -> this is resolved by increasing the play counter only if client requests portion at 90% of the file 2...

Play Counts when playing via DLNA [#7086]

I've noticed the play count # and the last played date/time are NOT updated when playing music from the MM4 DLNA server using my WDTV Live DLNA client.
Is this something that will be corrected over time?

DLNA Experience

Merry Christmas. Thanks to the MM team for my MM4 beta Christmas present... I've been looking forward to getting DLNA into MM4. Here is 10 minutes of testing... being Christmas day I'll keep it short and go into my experience more over the next few days. I have 3 DLNA players at hand, and this is ho...
