Re: Updating only changed files' tags

Yes but if you have a large library rescanning the whole libary is a waste of time. So I want to only update those that have changed - which I can tell beacuse of data and time on the file.

Synchronising - updating files with multi-value tags

Dear Monkeys, I have changed tags in MM, after which I have used Synchronise to update the tags in the files. However with files where I have for example: Artist = "Juan José Mosalini; Gustavo Beytelmann; Patrice Caratini", or Genre = "Tango; TestGenre" the update seems only to have added the first ...

Updating only changed files' tags

Dear Monkeys,

I want to update the tags for files where I have added a BPM - using a different application. Is there a way to do this without having to know all the albums/tracks? By which I mean can I do something like rescan since a date?

thank you...................... liz

Is it in the library?

Dear Monkeys,

Is there a way that MM flags albums or tracks if, for example, I am in the My Computer node and looking at the details of an album not yet added?

thanks.......................liz

Re: Fields, Tags & Lists - Multiple Values

My own answer: I think the only way is to edit the database with an SQLite editor. The Lists table shows the lists for Tempo (list1). Mood (list2), Occassion (list3), Quality (list4).

Re: Fields, Tags & Lists - Multiple Values

Ok, so no multiple values in custom fields. But in fields showing a "drop-down" icon such as Tempo , Mood, Occassion I thouhgt they would show values that I have entered previously when I didn't see them immediately I assumed that thye would be "assembled" on exiting so that I would see the next tim...

Fields, Tags & Lists - Multiple Values

Dear Monkeys, When using the Genre tag MM will compile a "list" from previous entries. This allows the user to select from a previous entry and save keying time. How does MM keep these lists and maintain them, or is it done on the fly somehow? Is it possible to have the same behaviour in a custom fi...

Split browser pane

Dear Monkeys,

Is it possible, or perhaps there's an add-on, to split the browser details pan so that, for example two albums could be viewed at the same time. This is useful if you keep multiple versions of the same CD.

thank you.......... liz
