Re: rating tracks - is it worth it?

Lazy me... I've never entered ratings (or genre, date, track number, composer, etc., and I've never missed any of these). As I recall, I didn't want to make the effort and felt that if I had some cuts with low ratings I would never play them. However I do somewhat the same thing by having "hits" pla...

Re: Enable Plug In

Thanks for the quick response. I had renamed the wmp3.dll. The MAD plugin was in the input options list and the MM mp3 plugin was not. I think my output plugins and mp3 files are okay, because the tunes play normally when I return the wmp3.dll to its original name. I'm not going to work on it any fu...

Re: Enable Plug In

Excuse my ignorance, but how do I disable the default plugin? I can't even tell which one it is. I have renamed the wmp3.dll, and MAD is on the options>input plugins list, but my mp3 files gray-out when I try to play them.

Re: How many "lifetime license" users out there?

I bought in some years ago when Yahoo took over Music Match Jukebox and ruined it. Media Monkey is worlds better -- a pleasure every time I use it.

Re: what songs give you the chills?

Thanks for this great thread.

Chiller: Neil Young "Long May You Run" from the Unplugged album.

Sad song (downright pitiful category): "No Telephone in Heaven" I"m sorry little girl, but no, you can't talk to mommy on the phone.

Uh... I deleted the Clear Now Playing Button script and - the Clear button disappeared from the Now Playing Controls bar.

Oh: I now see the script does something else and I'm not even using its features. Thanks.

Re: 'Reading files' and slow start up

I use the "Clear Now Playing Button" script. There is a "Clear" button at the bottom of the now playing list that is convenient to use upon closing MM or at any time.
