Re: Please expand <'Field':n>

Wow, none of that stuff is in the help file. Thanks for the tip! I wish I had known that Mid() was available yesterday. It would have saved me a lot of work.

Re: RegExp Find & Replace 3.4 w/ 101 presets (2009-02-21)[MM2+3]

This script is awesome! I wish it weren't Greek to me. :) Can you help me to... Strip the first 4 characters from the album field? Nevermind, I just installed the latest version and it had a preinstalled script that does just that... "Remove any six characters from the begin of the Album" I changed...

Please expand <'Field':n>

Expansion of <'Field':n> I think it would be a great idea to add a couple of things to the Directory and Filename mask formats. Right now there is the <'Field':n> function, which gets the "left most" characters out to position n. I'd like to propose that if a second number is added <'Field':n,n> tha...

Setting lyrics for multiple songs?

When multiple songs are selected, the Properties/Lyrics tab is not functional. Any hope of allowing me to update multipe songs with lyrics? (Obviously multiple renditions of the same song.)

Re: Aqua4 - Small player skin [v4.4]

The red "Close" buttons (top right corner) have been broken in this skin by MM 3.1. Does anyone have a fix or a comparable skin?

Tempo/Mood/Occasion/Quality cant del in Now Playing BUG#5327

Version: 1223

An existing value contained within Tempo, Mood, Occasion and Quality can't be deleted in the Now Playing list.

You can edit/delete them in the Details grid, but not in the now playing grid.

Re: RegExp Find & Replace 3.3 w/ 90+ presets (2009-02-02)[MM2+3]

That worked great on the Album bytes 6 & 7 to Custom5. I ran it on about 900 songs and it took a while, maybe 5 minutes, but it worked just fine.

Thanks!!!

Re: RegExp Find & Replace 3.3 w/ 90+ presets (2009-02-02)[MM2+3]

I'd like to take bytes 6 and 7 from the album field and copy them into (overwriting) the Custom5 field. Is this possible?

Ability to treat COMMENTS like a log.

I would like the ability to treat COMMENTS like a transaction log. I think that MM should consider the need to insert comments into existing comments. Let me elaborate on my need first. Several members of my family, past and present, are or have been singers and musicians. Over the last 60 years the...

Re: 1202(Orig 1177): installer error on MMHelper.dll BUG#388

Just as an aside, this free program called Process Explorer can easily and quickly show which program has a DLL open, and close that connection. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx Even if you don't use MediaMonkey, or don't have this DLL locking issue, every Windows comput...

Re: 1215 Files not in database get date/time mod if change in MM

Technically, the option is in the 'library' section, but I do agree it could/should apply no matter where MM touches files. On mine it's a sub-category under Library/Tags & Playlists. Aside from that, personally I have a couple staging folders that i put new files for cleanup, but I keep them in my...

1215 Files not in database get date/time mod if change #5229

Ver 1215 I have two MP3 files in a folder. One file is in the MM database and one is not. I go to the my computer node and modify both songs' properties. Put "ASDF" in comments for instance. The song that *is* in the database does not get its date/time stamp modified, but the song that is *not* in t...
