Maybe you inadvertently set MM to use the Windows theme instead of a skin?

Restoring a previous view (skin)

I've been using MM for (I think) 4 or 5 years - I have Gold. However, what I see (on screen) has changed, totally, in the past few days - I have changed no settings! The layout and information is the same (after having to reset everything) after downloading the latest version, but now the "skin" has...

Re: 3 Problems

An update to the "one off" problem.

I managed to find a way to solve it!

Instead of addressing the individual "rogue tracks" I used the multiple track edit option and ticked the box beside "Album Artist".

All tracks are now showing as they should do.

1 down, only 2 to go!!

3 Problems

I'm now using MM4 and have three problems (1 is a "one off" with the other two appearing to be intermittent). The "one off" involves an album I've scanned to MM and has two of the tracks where the album artist does not appear in the column where it should be (the remaing 10 tracks display correctly)...

Re: Version 4.02.1462

Thanks to everyone who replied and helped me get my album art where I want it!! However, I still have a problem that I don't know is solvable or is just a result of so called "improvements" in MM4. I would prefer the album art to be just that - without the now playing/selected headers and the text t...

Re: Would Like To Copy Files To A Portable Hard Disc

How about trying this. Create a playlist of files. Then right click on playlist and select "Send To/Folder Copy/Drive E/Folder I could be wrong but, given that MM does not hold/store any files all that I think would happen is that the tags would then be copied - in much the same way if you burn a C...

Re: Custom Fields under the Classification node?

If you enter what you want in the "Custom Field Headings" boxes that are located by going to Tools/Options/Library/Appearance and then restarting does that solve your problem? I'm no expert but it seems to be a reasonable guess. These Custom Field names here are configured since several years now. ...

Re: Would Like To Copy Files To A Portable Hard Disc

Why not just sort, using the album name, in Windows and then copy and paste?

The Library Node

Aaargh! I've somehow managed to lose the panel that would normally appear on the left of the screen and shows artists/albums/genres etc. - I think it is called the "Library Node". If I try clicking on "Tree", in view, I get a box containing the same info' but it can't be fixed where I want it becaus...

Please don't worry about it.

I use MM3 and it is an inconvenience, not a major problem.

Thanks anyway.

Re: Two queries - 1 x View, 1 x editing

I just tested in MediaMonkey 4 and you can add a semicolon after text and add more text. I haven't seen this issue either on MediaMonkey 3, but I don't use the Composer field that much. Maybe, I did not explain correctly. I have no problem typing text after inserting a semi-colon BUT I do have a pr...

Re: Two queries - 1 x View, 1 x editing

Right click toolbar, uncheck "Navigation". Not sure I understand what you're asking in your second question. Many thanks, that worked perfectly. My apologies if my second question was not clear - I'll try explaining a different way. When I want to add information in the basic "Track Properties" box...
