Re: initial sync to galaxy s5 SD card via usb not working

No reaction yet from support (Ticket with log ID: #BUM-764-97137).

WiFi sync seems to work, but it copied all the tracks again the first time.

Re: Auto conversion fails for .WV and .MOD

Hi Peke Thanks for your answer. Some questions remain: Why does manual conversion work and auto-conversion doesn't? What is the difference? APE also needs an input plugin. Why does this one work with auto-conversion and others don't? I haven't seen any hint that not all input plugins are supported, ...

Auto conversion fails for .WV and .MOD

With USB and WiFi sync, auto-conversion of Wavepack (.WV) and Module (.MOD) files fails.

Manual conversion works fine.
Conversion of Monkey's Audio (.APE) worked fine.

Re: initial sync to galaxy s5 SD card via usb not working

Preparing /Music folder didn't work either. MMW syncs there and creates the database, but MMA ignores both the database and the playlist.

So this is a bug.

Re: initial sync to galaxy s5 SD card via usb not working

Same issue with my new S5 (Android 5.0) with external SD card. I followed the instructions at http://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index.php/Sync_MediaMonkey_with_an_Android_device . MMW version: 4.1.8.1751. MMA version: 1.1.2.0419 and 1.1.3.0462. I guess the problem is that there is no /Music folder whe...

Re: Auto-converted temp tracks can grow without bounds [#112

I've found the culprit: there was a http:// stream in the synced playlist (can't remember how it got into the archive). So of course there wasn't enough space. But the way MM handles this is confusing. I had to repeatedly press cancel (both at the message and the process since it halted) and restart...

Re: Auto-converted temp tracks can grow without bounds [#112

I have the same issue, seems it's not completely fixed yet. MM 4.1.8.1751 is installed in portable mode on drive C. Empty space before Auto-Sync is 2.5GB. Auto-Conversion and Volume levelling are activated. Initial Auto-Sync via MTP to Android 5.0 (Samsung S5). After several hundred synced tracks th...

Internet Explorer version

Hi trixmoto Monkey Rok dosn't work when MediaMonkey is forced to use newer IE versions. Normally, IE 7 is used by MM and scripts. The problem with this is that some websites need a newer IE version, i.e. some web radios. So I had to force MM to use the current IE version by adding a registry key: Re...

Re: ActiveX Browser Version [#7383]

Same issue with 4.1.6.1736 (portable mode) and IE 11 on Windows 7 64. I remarked it when I wanted to load a web radio (http://player.gds.fm/) inside MM (bookmark in Web node) and the page told me that the IE version was too old. I've fixed it by adding a registry key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wo...

Re: HELP media volume leveling

You could use a DSP plug-in. Any Winamp 2 compatible or from here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/addons/browse/audio-video/dsp-effects/ But you should bear in mind that leveling (i.e. compressing) the volume within a song deteriorates sound quality. Dynamics are important for the music feeling. Compres...

Re: Frustrated in evaluating Mediamonkey

1.: Drag the file over to Music in the Media Tree.
I never use this myself, because my files are located at defined places from the beginning, so MM finds and includes them automatically.

Re: Value of ID3v2 POPM field and MM's Rating

it makes no sense to try to do that by mathematically translating a up 0-255 scale to 0-100, esp since MS already mangled the low end of the scale. A mathematical translation would be some sort of comprehensible logic at least. say iTunes decides to write POPM values to tags, and they support not o...

Re: [Req] Set volume leveling target

In other words, only quiet tracks would have their volumes boosted, but other tracks would not have their volumes decreased. That's what I use volume leveling for anyway. This isn't possible with the current architecture. If the the preamp volume was set to 100%, quieter tracks could not be made lo...

Re: [Req] Set volume leveling target

There is a similar feature request already, see http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=74554&p=386230#p386201 (and http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=74554&start=15#p385682 for some details). MMA can't increase the volume above 100%. This is a limit of the Android a...
