Re: Randomize Playlists

Autoplaylists are your best bet, the sort order can be set to 'Random' or 'Random Album'. The 'now playing' window also can be randomized, but not static playlists (not sure why you'd want to, either) As I mentioned in my original post, this way it can be exported or synced to my mp3 player in a di...

Randomize Playlists

This has been brought up before, but it still hasn't worked it's way into the Monkey, so I wanted to request it again. I would like the ability to randomize a playlist. No - not shuffle, but randomize. Before I sync a playlist or export it, I would like to be able to make it's order random. This way...

nduke, Any URL to their Review? Unfortunately, no. I just have the pdf edition of the issue. Sometimes they are a little different from the print version, but I hope this review is in the paper version as well! On the website they still have the January edition up. I'll keep an eye out for a url th...

MM Gets 5 Stars in Computer Shopper!

I haven't seen the print edition yet, but the digital version of the February 2006 edition of Computer Shopper gives MM 5 out of 5 stars! I know that might not be earth shattering news to those of us who hang out here, but it looks like the world is catching on! This is also a review of version 2.4 ...

Yes, I am aware that there are other ways to change the genre for songs. In fact, everything on the Send To submenu can be done in other ways. I would just like being able to quickly and easily change the genre without so many steps (such as going to the properties dialog). I like the Send To menu b...

Send To ... Genre

I use the Send To feature primarily to build playlists, but it would be even more helpful as an organizing tool if Genre was added to the context menu. Currently (i'm using the 2.5 Beta) the menu does include Classification with a submenu for Tempo, Mood etc. Genre seems like it would fit in natural...

This is a feature I would love to see also. WMP10 does this, which is the main reason I still use it and not MM for syncing (BELIEVE me-- I would love dumping WMP and use MM 100% of the time!) The ONLY good thing I can say about WMP is that the syncing works well. Yes, the quality is reduced on the ...

Hmm, DMR is a big issue, but you have to realize that starting a discussion about unprotecting DMR files ITS NOT GOOD for MM or its USERS ... My question was not about removing the protection (I edited out the sentence in my post that my have suggested that was what I was asking - thank you psyxono...

Subscription DRM Support (i.e. Yahoo, Napster...)

I have never liked the concept of DRM, but I did recently join Yahoo's music service. Their current yearly price is so much cheaper than the competitors - probably just an introductory price - but I won't complain! I guess the prices have gotten low enough that I sold out to the DRM concept! Althoug...

I would also love Zen support. I very happily own Gold MM, but I would love it even more if it supported my Zen Micro!

Along those lines, it would be easier to convince my wife of the wonders of MM if it supported her ipod Shuffle!
