I'd prefer to just fix the script so that users don't have to modify it, I just need to find the time.

No.

What is misleading about "Run Select Query" - you click this one when you want to run a SELECT query.

Re: SQL-Viewer 2.4 [Script] 2009-10-25

Yeah, Bex and I talked about that a while ago (probably years ago :-?). With string manipulation it can actually be pretty tricky to work out which is required for a complex SQL statement, and it's far too much work to try and build a tokenizer and all that nonsense just for this. The fact is that t...

Re: Program to edit MM SQLite DB?

I would cry! I don't think I've finished converting all of my scripts to SQLite yet. It's definitely better than what came before.

Re: SQL-Viewer 2.4 [Script] 2009-10-25

There's two different buttons that work quite differently... 1) "Run Select Query" uses the OpenSQL method and should be used for running SELECT queries. 2) "Execute DDL/DML Statement" uses the ExecSQL method and should be used for UPDATE/INSERT/DELETE queries. The reason you get the error is becaus...

Re: Batch Art Finder 4.2 - Updated 03/07/2012

I'm in a scripting lull at the moment, as I've just moved house and don't have internet access currently, but once that's sorted out, updating this script is on my list, and I'll try to take a look soon. It's not been updated for a couple of years, so it's well past due. Honestly, MadiaMonkey STAFF:...

Re: Custom Report 3.2 - Updated 29/07/2014

It's not MediaMonkey, it's Windows that isn't recognising the extension. It calls an OS command using the WScript Shell object, which is the same as using the "Run" command box.

This means that you don't have an application registered to handle the .xls and .xlsx extensions. Do you have Excel or another spreadsheet software installed?

Re: Timstamp controls for lyrics editing field

I'm currently working on a MM4 version of my "Lyric Timer" script, which should help with this. But it would be better if it was native.

Re: Cue Reader 5.6 - Updated 20/07/2014

Yeah, the script is only designed to handle UTF-8 files, not UTF-16. VBScript isn't good at working out how a file is encoded, so it's quite tricky.

The script is hardcoded to always work in UTF-8 mode from version 5.6. All the code in the UTF-8 is false part is the old code from version 5.5.
