Re: MM Gold : Triall Codecs - What?

The gold includes the full MP3 encoder. Unfortunately MP3 is not VIDEO. Originally MM did not support video, it was only in newer versions that video was added. For the additional codecs required a license fee so MM dev cannot provide for free. That is why the additional codecs are trial/limited/cos...

listenbrainz -- last.fm scrobbler alternative

https://listenbrainz.org/ The ListenBrainz project is similar to the original AudioScrobbler®. Unlike the original project, ListenBrainz is open source and will publish its data as open data. A team of former Last.fm and current MusicBrainz hackers created the first version of ListenBrainz in the sp...

Re: Porting MM4 scripts

just my 2c on the break from vbs; I know it would suck for me too, but I am glad of the clean break into a more modern and extensible architecture. I had many hours into just the few scripts I worked on, and if I had the time and energy, I would not so much try to a direct port, but instead use my k...

Re: A Q on database ..

Hi. Long time time! Good to see that MM continues to march along into the future! Regarding database/sqlite: I agree with previous comment regarding multi user, I believe that many years ago when MM2 used access database, it was much easier to have multiple user sharing database, than since the chan...

Re: Last.FM Node: dynamic node based on last.fm 2009.08.17 [

if you can't find the vbs file and the ini file is empty, it sounds like, it simply is not installed (or didn't install properly). simply follow those steps provided above your post. download script > put in auto folder create api account/code > put code in the section of the vbs script file (re)sta...

Re: Last.FM Node: dynamic node based on last.fm 2009.08.17 [

well i can't seem to be able to access my old api key @ http://www.last.fm/api/accounts it just keeps going back to the same page. so basically each person will have to create their own api key, if last.fm is even still allowing them. or else, someone will have to make public an existing key that th...

from the above post, you will need to create your own API key from last.fm to use the modified code above.

Re: Last.FM Node: dynamic node based on last.fm 2009.08.17 [

Hi, I'm sorry to hear the last.fm node dj is not working properly, it looks like last.fm has changed their website around alot since the last time I visited. I don't know if this issue is only temporary, of if what I suspect may be happening; Last.fm node and dj mode are based upon the original last...

Re: Issues with the scrobbler and MM 4.1 [#10125]

still a problem on mm4.1 1615 removing gen_LastFMScrobbler.dll from plugins folder and MM will run normally. putting gen_LastFMScrobbler.dll in the plugins folder will cause mm to run about 10-20 seconds, never showing the main window, only the tray icon will show up, then the mm.exe will terminate ...

REQ: restricting library search/scanning paths [#10170]

Hi, my android storage contains various app folders with their own audio/video files, which should not normally be added to the library. Ideally, there would be setting to select which storage path(s) should be included in the library so these extranious media files are ignored. On a related note, w...
