you can post them if you like, I don't have any immediate plans to update anything, but if I do I'll take a look at adding your changes.

Re: 1381 - Thread Creation Error [#8099]

I'm getting this thread creation error while syncing (or pre-sync actually, right before it starts copying files). sorry more info win7 x64 mm4 build 1413 database imported from mm3 syncing all music to a mapped network drive (usbmass plugin) oh, and it did seem to happen during track change, next t...

blue glass -- mm4 -- album art text

Hopefully a quick question with a simple answer, how do I change the text font color in the album art window. The problem is the text is black against the dark blue background. http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/5809/blueglassarttext.jpg [AlbumArt] FontColor=b8cbe5 doesn't seem to work mm4 - 1412 usin...

Er no. Reordering changes should be stored just as they are current...

Re: Manually reordered auto-playlists

The criterion is "chris preference", so not appropriate to add as a sort . Ok do you mean you are not sorting by any column, but that you are manually re-arranging them into an arbitrary order? If so, then there would be no way for an auto-playlist to generate the order you desire, only that you co...

Re: Manually reordered auto-playlists

the purpose is to make changes to an auto-playlist without the need to save to a static list first. the changes could be for any reason, but a most likely reason would be something like: - have an auto-playlist criteria consisting of 50 random favorite tracks not playlist within the last week - want...

Re: Manually reordered auto-playlists

But what function does it serve to be able to manually arrange tracks on an AutoPlaylist? Please understand the functional difference between an auto-playlist (criteria), and a displayed tracklist. obviously no manual changes can be made to an auto-playlist that is not displayed as a tracklist (ie ...

Re: Manually reordered auto-playlists

That would raise the inevitable discussion as to why the new order can't be saved back to the AutoPlaylist and how it's inconsistent with Playlist behavior. I don't think anyone is expecting to have manual tracklist changes made to an auto-playlist to be saved to the auto-playlist criteria. I think...

Re: Please would prev/back view restore the track browser st

I expect that the forward and backward should restore the view of the node, just like web browser navigation buttons typically do.

I do not expect that the forward/back should restore individual view changes within the same node.

Re: Manually reordered auto-playlists

That's the only way as AutoPlaylists are criteria based. The sort order of these ones have no auto-playlist criteria, so I see no impediment to manual sorting. let me see if I understand this; chrisjj has auto-playlists, but the sort he wants to use is not available as an auto-playlist criteria? in...

Re: Manually reordered auto-playlists

the point is not necessarily that we want to change the auto-playlist, only that we want to change the displayed tracklist, irrelevant that it was generated by an auto-playlist.

Re: Manually reordered auto-playlists

once the auto-playlist is loaded, it should be trivial to allow the tracklist to be manually re-arranged, given the fact that the tracklist itself is not stored and that refreshing the auto-playlist will reload the tracklist again with whatever the criteria returns my point being, that re-arranging ...

Re: Syncing 2 drives (one as a backup)

robocopy is not a 2-way sync, nor are there any easy solutions. there are distributed/mirrored file system software out there, but you can google for more info. possibly the closest thing would be drop box, but that isn't really designed for syncing hundreds+ gigs what you can do with mediamonkey is...
