Re: Modding: Increasing size of the status bar?

Hi thanks for the reply - yes I could as well try to change the font. Problem is, the font is already too small on my TV. And scaling set to 150%. Didn't think about messaging the author directly. Might try it, but it's been years since any of them were active here. I have actually done minor change...

Modding: Increasing size of the status bar?

Hey, I've been using the excellent Delletronic skin for years now, but recently with Windows DPI scaling improvements, there are some minor quirks. Generally the skin works really nice for the most part, but one thing is the status bar, where the font now doesn't always fit: https://i.imgur.com/FYtU...

Re: High DPI display support in future versions [#11014]

I just noticed that you can get the text to scale correctly by adjusting MediaMonkeys shortcut properties. (Using MediaMonkey 4.1.19 and Windows 10 pro.) To do it, right click on the MediaMonkey icon in the start menu, and click on 'Go to file location'. Then in the file explorer, right click on th...

Re: On a dual monitor system MM closes unexpectedly on WIN 1

I installed the debug version, could not get any MediaMonkey.elf or Eurekalog on crash. So used Dbgview and got a log. The crash occurred about here in the log: 00000543 36.90918350 [7936] Forms: Received WM_ACTIVATEAPP I am attaching here: http://www.filedropper.com/topic86161 I could open a suppor...

Re: On a dual monitor system MM closes unexpectedly on WIN 1

I can replicate here, skinned version with Delletronic skin, Win10 Pro x64, and triple-monitor setup. MM just dies when double-clicking the title bar, if placed on the second (or third) monitor, but not on primary. Not sure if it dumps something and if so where the dump ends up... Not sure how new t...

Re: Where has the title bar gone?

Not sure if this is something new in the latest version. I do know they changed the DPI scaling options, might be related. But I still think the window title still should be there, available for scripting, just hidden. At least for me, on Win10 Pro x64, the old title with track number and title stil...

Re: High DPI display support in future versions [#11014]

Well, it appears that in the latest 4.14 version dpiAware is now set to "false" in the manifest... and now it all looks blurry as hell on 150% :( So I've had to disable DPI scaling for Mediamonkey, I guess I've gotten so used to it. Thing is, most of MM actually scales pretty well, the text is mostl...

Re: Mediamonkey 5?

Please if you can, give at least a little teaser in form of a screenshot of two :D

I am very anxious to see how the default skin would look, at the least.

Mikolajek; Which skin are you using?
Would you be able to make a copy of your msz or mmip file and upload it so I can try it and see if it helps me?

Tips for sizing the player of a skin (Delletronic)

Hey, I've been a long time user of MMW and also have dabbled a little bit in skinning, specifically I did some minor changes to the player-text in the awesome Delletronic skin. Recently I've started using MM on my 55' TV in 1080p resolution, and while the fonts scale ok with 150% DPI scaling set in ...

Re: High DPI display support in future versions [#11014]

This is planned to work much better in MM5. Jiri That's great to hear. I have recently changed to a higher resolution when using MM on my TV and in 1080p the player is really small to the point of it being impossible to use. I use the Delletronic skin but there really are very few skins with large ...

Re: Initial scanning very slow on Android

I can confirm that deleting MMA from the device make the copy of files start almost immediately when using Send To Device. So hopefully the problem can be solved so I can have MMA installed as well, since I really like the streaming functions in MMA. Edit: Fixed in 4.1.6 apparently, please bring it ...

Re: Initial scanning very slow on Android

Hello Ludek, I can confirm that Windows Explorer also hangs while the initialization is going on. Is the file mmstore.db needed for me when I just do a basic Send To -> Device ? Is it there because I have MMA installed on the device? Basically MMW should just pipe the files over to the filesystem on...

Re: Initial scanning very slow on Android

I have opened a support ticket: #AQN-884-24890

I also found this case, which might indicate that it is related to having MMA installed?

Re: Initial scanning very slow on Android

I have the same problem. Been having it for some time, up to the point I had given up on sync with MM, and resorting to standard copy of mp3s. This was a lot of time before the new version which promised to improve sync, so I wanted to give it another go but the problem of 'initializing' never finis...
