Re: What should artist art work look like?

You say "where there is no artwork yet". That is not correct, I see that images change. So existing images are also updated.

If there will be no more options to influence this process, it simply requires too much confidence to be usefull.

Re: Task bar remains hidden

How did you do this test, I mean: which element was selected on the left column?

I am referring to the situation when I am on one of the library (sub)nodes. I think full screen/full window can only be selected when on "now playing".

Could you maybe also check what happens while in one of the nodes?

Re: What should artist art work look like?

Gradually MM5 starts filling the artwork for my ~4000 artists. Very gradually. There's a lot about it that I do not like - I've had to switch on "update artwork" and I am not sure that this does not mess with my album art - progress on finding artist artwork is slow - it seems only to populate visib...

Re: What should artist art work look like?

I don't like MM to meddle with my artwork, so I switched this of.
Now that I have switched it on, MM5 starts filling the artist artwork.

I just hope MM5 doesn't change the album artwork though.

It would be good if I could maken he distinction: update artist artwork only.

Re: Task bar remains hidden

We shouldn't be discussing an addon here I think. To me it seems a fault in MM5.

Re: What should artist art work look like?

I don't see any progress. Still only boxes with 2 letters.

Does this require autotagging to be switched on?

What should artist art work look like?

When I select a collection, I see a number of blocks for "artists" and a number of blocks for "albums". The albums block show the album front covers which is fine. The artists blocks show just two letters in a square and the full name of the artist below. This doesn't make sense to me. Why 2 letters...

Re: Task bar remains hidden

As far as I see there is no difference between maximize and full screen. With other programs, if I choose maximize, I can still make the task bar visible. This was also the case with MM4. With MM5, there only seems to be a full screen mode. I find this very inconvenient. Full screen should only be a...

Re: Switching From MediaMonkey 4 To 5

It would help if the addon restore/sync database were available. This should be able to also restore an MM4 database into MM5.
It can either be an add on, or a function in MM5.

Re: Task bar remains hidden

I can see the purpose of a full screen mode. But how do I then get the screen "maximized"?

Re: Switching From MediaMonkey 4 To 5

Indeed, I did tell MM5 to convert the database and I know it doesn't alter the original MM4 database. But somehow MM5 started searching for media files all across my network, even on the backup NAS. I wasn't concerned about the MM database, I was concerned about my collection of media files. So, I d...

Re: Switching From MediaMonkey 4 To 5

I just started trying MM5. It is not ready to replace MM4 I would say. If you install MM5, you can migrate your MM4 library. For me this didn't work. We have > 50.000 tracks on a network share, and an awfull lot of playlists/magic nodes etc, and multiple MM libraries on our pc's/laptop. MM5 started ...

Task bar remains hidden

I have set my Windows task bar to automatically hide when I use a program in full screen.
The taskbar becomes visible when I hover over it.

However, this doesn't work when using MM5 in full screen. The task bar remains hidden.

Is this a setting?

Tagging error

I have an album of 8 songs. I want MM5 to autotag so that the titels etc are incorporated into MM. MM does find the album - or rather it finds multiple. 7 of the titles are attributed to one album, only one track is on another album. Also the artist varies per track. I have reported a similar issue ...
