Re: Select songs without cover art

No, that doesn't work for this. Because the songs do have album art - but not "cover" type.

Select songs without cover art

Is there any way to select all songs that have no cover art? I mean something like "Album Art unknown", but then specifically no cover art. Background: all my songs have album art in the mp3 tag, so "album art unknown" lists 0 songs. However, part of the album art is stored as type "cover", and the ...

Re: Database corrupted during conversion?

I have started all over again: downloaded 1236, installed this version on both PC's, and put the old 3.0.7 library back. The problems that I reported before do not occur. Certainly, the second PC does not seem to start converting! However, we don't exactly have a smooth operation. Lots of "locked da...

Re: Database corrupted during conversion?

We use MediaMonekey in a multiple PC environment, with a shared database. It seems that this is causing the problem. What is the case? - MM 3.1 is installed on 2 PC's - The unconverted 3.0 database is in the correct folder - MM 3.1 on the first PC starts converting the database from 3.0 to 3.1, no e...

Re: Number of times played not an integer

Weird. I converted my 3.0 database again, because of a couple of other problems. Now the non-integers are gone, all of them.
Just to let you know...

It is definitely not new. I also noticed it, already with 3.0.
Intuitively I don't like it either.

Re: Increase DB size: +50%

Okay, clear. I don't mind, was just wondering if it was an explanation for a couple of other problems.
Seems it isn't.
Thanks, Willy

Re: Database corrupted during conversion?

You make me think. I will convert the library again, and see if there are any error messages.

Database corrupted during conversion?

When I start MM 3.1 I usually get a number of error messages: - Cannot load query data: Could not find condition id: 209 - There was a problem searching the database: Error executing SQL etc etc - Cannot load query data: Could not find condition id: 207. After clicking "ignore", MM starts and I can ...

Increase DB size: +50%

After the upgrade from 3.0.7 to 3.1 the size of my database increased from app 25 MB to 37 MB. Is that to be expected?

I get a lot of errors also. Will make a separate entry for that, but probably it is related.

Re: Number of times played not an integer

Yes. And whether it was 5.05 or 5.95, it becomes 6. If I skip the song while it's playing, the playcount stays unaltered. I tried several things, but I cannot force it to a non-integer playcount, but different from what it was before. So seemingly it only occured during the conversion from 3.0 to 3....

Re: On tagging works by classical composers

I don't think there's a standard. When I rip a CD, I apply my own "standard": - album artist = artist = performer, unless it is a collection CD with various artists; then: albumartist = "various artists" and artist = performer - if there are multiple performers (e.g. orchestra and soloists) I list t...

Re: Number of times played not an integer

I tried, but I can't reproduce it either; I mean I can't make it happen deliberately.
It's just that after upgrading to 3.1 about 10% of the songs that we have actually played have a non-integer playcount.
The genre of the songs is Alternative.

Number of times played not an integer [NOTREP]

The number of times played is not always an integer.
I'm using build 1235, Windows XP.
