Thanks for the update Jiri. If anyone has ever had an issue where a large number of tracks being rendered unplayable (file sizes shrunk down to almost nothing) I'd appreciate it if you would respond to this thread. I don't know what happened but I lost over 1,000 tracks and the only thing that I rec...

Rusty - In answer to your questions... 1 - Audi format is apple lossless (m4a) 2 - art is embedded 3 - tagging using amazon 4 - tracks from album all in single directory Rusty - What is the best way to tag all tracks from an album. Rusty -

Unfortunately I can't give you any steps other than I tagged the files. Although on further thought I'm not 100% certain it was RC5 that's my recollection.

Just to confirm however, prior to RC5 the issue with the files being destroyed (shrunk in size) was occurring?

Album Art Randomly Disapeearing

RC6: Album Art is randomly disappearing from certain tracks. i add the art and everything looks fine. A little while later certain tracks (not all) from an album will lose the art.

Any comments on this? At this point I've stopped using MM because of the issues described in my previous post.

if you click on a browser column it filters the current column ( ie. removes the choices not selected) as well as the columns to the left (ie. f the middle item is a "Rock" genre and Genre is the first column, it eliminates all the other genres). The filtering should only be to the right.

A few additional points on this issue: (1) These files were created on my system even though i did no conversions. Just tagging files (2) Although I can't prove a direct link, I believe some of my original files were damaged in the process. I have about 1,000 files that now are unplayable (they have...

Browser Filtering to the Left Again

In MM3RC5 the Browser is filtering to the left again. This had been fixed for awhile but is now happening again.

Album Rating in MM3

is there a way to create playlists using the Album Ratings that MM is calculating. I can't find that criteria in the dialog box. Similarly is there a way to sort or create a magic node by/for Album Rating?

Thanks

Use itunes Song Rating Approach

I realize there are various workarounds for keeping song ratings in sync between itunes and MM. But here's a wish for this (song ratings in MM to be able to be read by itunes) to be done natively within MM. Since there are no standards for song ratings, why not just use the itunes rating approach. I...

Great Job with the new burn engine

Congratulations on the new burning engine. I've been using MM for a couple of years and, while it is hands down the best music management software, I've always had problems burning CD's. I was never able to burn one that didn't have "skips" (and I've burned over a 100). With RC4, I finally have an M...

RC4 Installation Question

I've noticed that starting with RC3, the installation instructions include "uninstall previous beta/rc versions of MM3". Does that mean that I need to do a "100% clean" installation (ie. manually delete Program Files/MediaMonke and MyMusic/MediaMonkey directories) or can i just uninstall MM3 using t...

I have the same issue. The Browser has been buggy throughout the development cycle but the good news is that it has improved from the first Alpha.

CD Burning Problems

I still get gaps in CDs burned with MM. I've tried burning the same tracks with itunes, WMP11, dbpoweramp and even Roxio. None of these other programs exhibit the same problems.
