Re: MonkeyMatch 0.5.56 - Find & Fix Similar Spelling (7/7/13

This is almost certainly due to something in your database that MonkeyMatch doesn't like. There's pretty much no way that I can debug it unless I have your MM.db.

I'm happy to look into the error if you can upload your MM.db to some file-sharing site and PM me the link.

Re: MonkeyMatch 0.5.56 - Find & Fix Similar Spelling (7/7/13

MonkeyMatch runs fine under Windows 10. I have run into several occasions where something in the MediaMonkey database crashed MonkeyMatch. About the only way to figure it out is if you will make your MM.db available for me to download, using some file-sharing service or something. Send me a personal...

Re: Can I programmatically run Auto-Organize

Auto-Organize will already run automatically when changes are made to the tags. This is not true on my system, since I do not have this setting enabled (Tools... Options... Library... Auto-Organize). However, this gives me another option - can I programmatically enable/disable this option in my pro...

Can I programmatically run Auto-Organize

I'm writing a program which will check a song's SongPath and compare it to what it should be. The simplest idea is to identify songs that I forgot to auto-organize manually. However, this program will also be making changes, like converting case in certain words or move "feat. blah blah" from the Ar...

Send to... Rip/Convert... Ogg keeps dying

Using 4.1.9.1764. Converting ~1900 FLACs to Ogg 256 using Send To... Folder (Rip/Convert) and choosing Ogg @ Quality 8 (256 Kbps). The process keeps dying, no errors, it just goes away on the status bar. It does seem to leave a background mediamonkey.exe process running, but I'm not positive. Conver...

Re: Linking another database to MM

I've actually shelved this project for a number of reasons, but I did start and added a UUID to each song in a custom tag that's not visible to MediaMonkey. In C# I used System.Guid.NewGuid() to generate which should almost certainly be unique for each song, but I do a quick check for uniqueness any...

Re: MonkeyMatch 0.5.56 - Find & Fix Similar Spelling (7/7/13

The middle two - Disk 1 vs Disk 2 - should have been found using most any setting. The others are probably outside the bounds of Setting 3. Comparing the first to the last requires 14 changes, which is more than Setting 3 can handle given the lengths. The first compared to the two "Disk" ones requir...

Re: 5-Channel Songs Get Empty Channels Field

Either I'm doing something wrong or something is wrong with that URL. I went to it, and tried to log in and it said my username or password was invalid. I double-checked and tried again. Same thing. I did a password reset, same thing. So I clicked on the Register button, figuring that the MM Forums ...

Re: 5-Channel Songs Get Empty Channels Field

Well I went through all my 5- and 6-channel albums, and the only songs that don't have the number of channels listed in MM are from 2 albums. All songs from these albums don't list the channels in MM. Smells like an inability to recognize 5-channel songs. I will open a ticket and upload a song. Than...

5-Channel Songs Get Empty Channels Field

I have an album ripped from SACD, Dave Brubeck's Time Out. MediaInfo says the songs have 5 channels - not 6 which would indicate 5.1. In MediaMonkey the Channels field is blank. I find the same thing for a Beethoven album with 5 channels. These are the only 2 albums in my collection where MM shows a...

Multiple versions of a song play at different volumes

I have two versions of an album, with the songs ripped as FLACs. All songs have been replaygain'd using Foobar, using "Scan selection as albums (by tags)" MM does show the track and album leveling adjustments, which are different for each version of each song. MM is set to "Level Playback volume to"...
