Is that with the 'Test 2' script on the page before here?
As far as I know this 'Test2' script should do the stuff in MM3.
Been 'off music' lately so I haven't tested it much.

Maybe updating the scripting system on the computer could help. http://www.mrtech.com/news/messages/4047.html Otherwise it can be done manually. The install file contain 3x scripts. Program Files\MediaMonkey\Scripts\Auto\AutoRateSongs.vbs Program Files\MediaMonkey\Scripts\Auto\AutoRateSongsOptionShe...

In regards to MM3 Alpha. It might help to have the rating procedure happening a bit later. In the test script it is set to happen 1.2 seconds after a new song start playing. You might want to try 2.0 seconds instead to give MM3 a bit more time. Sub SetTimers Set CST=SDB.CreateTimer(500) Script.Regis...

Hi Mad Lib, Most likely some sort of protection software have disabled your script system. You might find this little trick helps. Start - Run and write CScript //H:WScript and hit OK All it does is to reset the script system to defaults. The effect should hopefully be that a double click should do ...

Nice with some inspiration, thank you. :) I have this MM2.4+ and MM3 version under testing and if anyone should feel bothered testing it, it is pasted in below. If tested as a replacement for v5.02 in MM2.4+, the section [AutoRateSongs] in the MediaMonkey.ini file will be messed up... so I think at ...

It's a bit tight there in the Option Sheet for sliders. At the moment I have a version being compatible with both MM2.4+ and MM3 so I'll just clean that one up a bit, and most likely post it here after some testing. In this version you can set the delay in milliseconds like Set RSN=SDB.CreateTimer(1...

Thank you for the inspiration Balance.. I agree with you about the delay of the action. One earlier version had a 0.6 second delay, and it should get in there again. The delay would also help reliability in tag writing and should be easy to tweak, so if you are fine with 5 seconds it could be done e...

Tools like http://www.hdtune.com/ can help by giving a little HDD health check now and then. I just replace two of my less than 2 years old Seagate drives due to one red line on one, and a yellow line on the other in this health report. I filled up the HDDs and have them stored in the shelf as a bac...

Personally I'm very happy about HDDs becoming affordable per GB. The first 1 GB HDD I bought cost me US$ 1200, and was noisy as a jet plane. In the early CDR days, I felt I got a bargain with some CDR's I bought and only a year after the silver layer on these CDs started separating from the plastic....

The theory is to open up the Zip file, and you'll see the Install... script there.

A simple double click of this Install... script should do the trick.

After a restart of MM, you can set options under Tools - Options - Library - AutoRate

With MM2.x I always made sure the /nosplash switch was on. I like this new sleek look. Morten9300 is also very nice, but I guess the chain/barrel of monkey's figure needs replacing with something better. Dancing monkey, why not. Would be an elegant way to replace the smiling monkey with another chee...

It's good fun to see the logo changes, and the Vista style browsing. Prove that the joy of developing and the creativity is there in full power.

Seems to me that the Location node has been optimized a fair bit. Seems faster.

Have fun developers!. I have fun watching your progress.
