hi walter
looking at your name i suppose that you're from germany?

if that's the case i also suppose that you are working with a
german user interface?

in that case you have to set your masks in german.

<Auto Number> = <autom. Nummerierung>
<Random> = <Zufall>

the send to playlist and send to folder targets are
stored in the Mediamonkey.ini file

there is a section

[SendToPlstHist]

and

[SendToFldrHist]

with some entries below. replace them with

[SendToPlstHist]
Count=0

[SendToFldrHist]
Count=0

and your ghost playlist names should be gone. :)

1. I download 2 tracks to D:\UnmonitoredMusic\Downloads\ Mozart - Hits - Flute Concerto.mp3 Elvis Presley - Very Best - Hound Dog.mp3 2. I go to D:\UnmonitoredMusic\Downloads\ and auto-organize those. So they automatically appear respectively as: D:\My Music\Mozart\Hits\Flute Concerto.mp3 D:\My Mus...

Re: Send to (copy) seems to work fine

So the Send-to (Copy) function is consistently copying tracks to the defined location, but doesn't add them to the library. a similar issue happens with the auto-organize function as you can see here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13903 so it seems that MM doesn't update the libr...

i just tried to test your scenario out and yes you are right MM doesn't update a watched folder when you auto-organize a folder under the my computer node. thats strange and MM should do that. but what i did was the following: i did an auto-organizing under my computer and let it create the folder/f...

you can also browse to that folder via the "my computer" node

make a right-click on it and "add/rescan ...."

this way only that folder should be selected

btw in case you have the monitor function enabled
MM should update the library automatically
(in case it is started)
