Re: Sleep Timer & Connected Bluetooth Devices

Yes, I did have this set, and it had previously been set to 3 minutes, but I reduced it to one, just to change it. However the behavior is the same. MMA shuts down after the sleep timer expires, but the notifcation never leaves the device. So, it appears that the BT connection is preserved and the o...

Re: MM for Windows and Windows Networking

Thank You lowlander, I'll remember to manage music files within MediaMonkey from now on. That makes sense. Regarding the files which still won't play within MediaMonkey I navigated to those files with Windows Explorer, right clicked selected Open With: and selected MediaMonkey. No joy on any of the ...

Re: MM for Windows and Windows Networking

Perhaps there is something more sinister going on. I went to an album which I thought was missing a track, and found that the title was different than what was recorded in the database, and I found that the naming convention for that album was inconsistent. Some tracks had the band name a dash and t...

Re: MM for Windows and Windows Networking

Thanks for the response lowlander. I went and did some more digging. I think it's the file names. The relative file paths are the same, but the files which do not play have the Band's name in front of the track title, and then there are songs on the same album which just have the track name. I also ...

Re: Sleep Timer & Connected Bluetooth Devices

Thank You for your reply Pavle. I'm sorry that I do not know where this setting is that you are referring to. I've checked everywhere within MMA (or so I've thought) for this setting to close MM when idle, but I've not located that setting. If you'll guide me there I'll certainly try this out. Thank...

Re: MM for Windows and Windows Networking

I should not have mentioned scanning. The real problem is playing music. I checked my Playlists for example, and most of the tracks won't play. I'm not sure why. Some will some won't. It is an odd thing though that MM can see one networked computer, but not the others. In my view there is a disconne...

Support for Android Auto

A nice feature for the application would be support for Android Auto. I saw one acknowledgement that this would be considered, but now that we are a little farther down the road, maybe this feature could be considered for possible inclusion in a future release. The other stuff out there on Google wh...

Re: MM for Windows and Windows Networking

Thank You lowlander for your response. However, it does not really answer why MM has the problem, nor does it address that I cannot see my music because MM cannot see the computer that it is hosted on. For adding new music this approach sounds like a good work around however.

MM for Windows and Windows Networking

This is something that I have seen for many years and over many releases with MM for Windows. Currently I have the 4.1.9.1764 build of MM installed on Windows 7 Professional 64-bit computer. I choose to Scan in my library of tracks from my primary MediaMonkey server / player on a separate computer r...

Sleep Timer & Connected Bluetooth Devices

I loaded Media Monkey for Android 1.1.3.0529 on my LG G3 (LGLS990) device which runs Android 5.0.1. All appears to be fine, but I had a question about the Sleep Timer implementation as it relates to connected Bluetooth devices. The use case is I have MMA running and I connect the LG G3 to my Klipsch...

Re: Android Auto compatibility

I'm not sure if this is the best place for the MM developers to receive votes for Android Auto compatibility, but I'd love to see MM be Android Auto compatible. I've only found one compatible player which can play the local music from a connected device (MDPlayer), and I would say it looks like some...

Converting 24/96 WAV files to FLAC at same specs

I have seen this topic covered in these forums, but from slightly different perspectives or interests. I am trying to convert 24 bit depth / 96 khz sampled WAV files into FLAC files for better organization in MM. I know MM will convert the WAV files, but my concern is in the FLAC settings. While it ...

Re: Library empty, but shouldn't be (Xperia Z3)

I have same problem with the MMA (1.1.2.0415) Library not being 'seen' correctly. I had just performed a sync via USB from MMW (4.1.7.1741) Server. All seemed to be fine, and I did see the content (both Music and Playlists) listed for a brief time after I completed the sync so I thought all was well...
