Re: remember columns width

Using 3.0.7.1191. MediaMonkey.exe closes properly. Only have websearch panels installed. Like I said - had this problem before and there was an easy fix - something to do with how you close the program, just can't remember it. It's really bugging me... I was playing around with this and I think I k...

Re: All my tracks greyed out everytime I reboot the computer

Monkey can get buggy if you are using a mapped drive letter for a NAS drive. It is better to use the NAS name in the path. The next time it gets greyed out, you might have it try to locate the missing tracks through ONLY the network node and the NAS path for your drive. Here are some other links for...

Re: Ripping CDs to FLAC: Some General Questions

I agree with nohitter's comments. A couple of other thoughts, If you want more info on volume leveling, see: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=32761&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=volume+leveling#p167398 It sounds like you have a fairly large classical collection. I found even using...

Re: Album Art tags in Media Monkey won't work with Escient

Sorry, to JB if I took your post a little of topic. Good luck with getting Escient to work, you might try their support now that you know where monkey stores the art. I used Escient for years and found theior support pretty good. Thanks again to nohitter for answering my questions.

Re: Album Art tags in Media Monkey won't work with Escient

Nohitter - Thanks a ton for the info, the picture is just starting to come into focus. It was always unclear to me. A few follow on questions if you don't mind? Is the album art automatically stored to the COVERARTx vorbis comment in the tag for FLAC files? Well, yes, as long as you are telling MM t...

Re: Album Art tags in Media Monkey won't work with Escient

Is the album art automatically stored to the COVERARTx vorbis comment in the tag for FLAC files? How does one tell if Monkey is storing it in the Tags or just as a link to the folder.jpg file? Is there a benefit to having it in theTag? I've seen some talk on the Hydrogenaudio site that there is a "s...

Re: Help using Auto Organise

Btw, you might want to consider this mask: F:\<Artist:1>\<Artist>\<Year>\<Album>\<Track#:2> <Artist> - <Title> If you use this, then the file name will have the Ttrack Number, Artisit and Title which might be useful outside of monkey or if the tags get messed up in the future. Also, If you have a sp...

Re: Help using Auto Organise

Just want to make sure that you want an individual folder for every <track #>, ie if 15 tracks on an album, 15 different folders? That's what you asked for and that is what nohitter's mask will do. I would recommend that you use the track number in the filename, then all the tracks for an album will...

Re: How to create a CD List?

If you open the track browser window View > Show Track Browser or Track Browser button, you can select any field to create a list. By choosing Album (I think the same as CD for your purpose) you will get a list of all your Albums (CDs) in one of the panes in the window which can be resized and which...

Re: Copying Dirs to Remote Device from MM

Try copying just like in Windows under the My computer node in Monkey. Highlight the folder you want copied, right click, choose copy, highlight the drive/device and right click, choose paste. Should work.

Re: MM Library on external harddrive

Truth be told, I am sure that I skew the mean age upward everytime I log into the forum. We both strive for the old school sound but with the convienence of today's technology. Good thing that the next generation chose to get together to not only build Monkey but still answer us oldtimer's questions...

Re: MM Library on external harddrive

Glad you got the ASIO working, but sorry about the sound. I quickly looked up the USB card you are using and it has a S/PDIF optical out. If your Marantz reciever has a digital input, have you tried passing the output from the card to the reciever digitally and using the DAC in the reciever? It may ...

Re: MM Library on external harddrive

I used download from Octahan at this site: http://otachan.com/out_asio(dll).html This page is in Japanese, so you can use copy it to google translate if you need to read it in English. However, all you have to do is click on the out_asio(dll)_067.7z (dll version) Ver. 0.67 (182KB) download. This is ...
