Lyrics panel

Is there supposed to be a lyrics panel in the unmodified version of MM? I thought you had to install Lyrics Viewer for that.

Re: A few tracks: couldn't scan audio, then crashed

I was able to reproduce it in the debug version, though that time it generated a crash report. Hope it helps!

Re: A few tracks: couldn't scan audio, then crashed

The paths were definitely correct. What I tried first, which worked, was having iTunes "create mp3 version" (even though they were already mp3s). The new version works fine.

Doesn't explain why they made MediaMonkey crash, unfortunately.

Re: A few tracks: couldn't scan audio, then crashed

I will double check (not at that computer right now), but the fact I was able to drag the tracks from MM to iTunes and play them suggests that the paths in MM were correct. Nothing in the list of reasons jumped out at me, but I will look into those as well. Thanks.

A few tracks: couldn't scan audio, then crashed

I didn't see any other topics about this, although I could have overlooked them. I discovered an odd problem last night. I had just analyzed volume for my whole music library (about 13K tracks). It turned up maybe a dozen that it couldn't analyze, and asked if I wanted to add them to a playlist, so ...

Re: ARTISTSORT Tag field [#9064]

Just thought I'd point out that while this would be my ideal, implementing artistsort, albumsort, tracksort, etc could solve the same problem without requiring a lot of complicated internal logic from the program or disrupting things for users who don't want that functionality.

Re: Discussion about the Official Wishlist

3) Oh, I see. You're offering current solutions. I appreciate that. :) I posted in the wishlist thread, because I really WISH it worked this other way, or could be configured to. (If the sorting thing gets fixed, and it offered THIS capability, I would buy a Gold membership in heartbeat). 6) Good to...

Re: Discussion about the Official Wishlist

I'm not sure I understand. Doesn't adding a collection add a whole new tree? Why would I want to do that just to see one specific view? Also, isn't that specific to Gold? I'm also not used to the whole tree/node thing yet. It may grow on me, but at the moment it feels like killing a fly with a sledg...

Re: Discussion about the Official Wishlist

Thought I replied to this yesterday, huh. Anyway, thanks for adding my post to those request pages. I hope the "high" priority on the first one means it'll be applied sooner rather than later. Regarding #3, yes. And I REALLY want it broken down by specific section. If I'm looking at the duplicate ti...

Discussion about the Official Wishlist

I just switched to MediaMonkey from iTunes. It's not the most intuitive thing ever, but once I got through the worst of the learning curve I started to love it. So nice not to be tethered to iTunes anymore. That said, I would like to put in my votes for the following features (which I haven't been a...
