Folder Monitoring can add tracks to trackslist [#12094]

Just updated my main system to 4.1.1.1703, and am seeing really odd stuff with the folder monitoring. If a file gets added to a sibling folder, it'll show up in the current folder. For instance, say I have this folder structure: D:\Music\Artist\AlbumOne D:\Music\Artist\AlbumTwo If I set a mass conve...

Re: DLNA Chops of end of tracks

The fact that it isn't resolved doesn't mean they're not working on a solution. It may be hard to fix even with debug logs due to the large amount of DLNA clients, of which many have their own share of bugs, out there and the huge amount of user variables in play. As it hasn't been reproducible it ...

Frustrating, isn't it! I agree. Killed the better part of an hour generating a bunch of debug logs. :x

Re: DLNA Chops of end of tracks

Alright, I'll give it a shot. So, in a nutshell, get the latest debug build on both client and server, fire up DbgView on each, then try playing a short album on the client and send the DbgView logs back referencing this thread. Anything missing there?

Re: DLNA Chops of end of tracks

Same sad story here. 10 or 15 seconds in, about 1 in 3 tracks jumps to the next. Essentially makes the feature worthless for someone who's "album oriented." Server is MM4 (b1462) on Windows 7 x64. Clients are also MM4 (b1462) on Windows XP SP3 (wireless-n) and on Windows 7 x64 (gigabit wired). I hav...

Re: MM doesn't play the full track before advancing (DLNA)

Yeah, I tried it again the other day. Frustrating! About 1 in 3 tracks abort playing 10 or so seconds in, moving to the next. Often in groups.

Re: MM doesn't play the full track before advancing (DLNA)

Thought I'd seen this had been addressed in one of the minor updates? Put 1462 on both (Win7) server and (XP) client last night, tried again, and it couldn't even play all the way through a single album. No conversion was used. MP3s were VBR, under 192, over a wireless connection that has zero probl...

Re: AutoTag "Add Artwork" Regression

Thanks. Couldn't quite bring myself to post it as a bug, because it was obvious that it was "by design." Software just doesn't do that on its own. One or more of the developers clearly felt this was appropriate behavior and went to some trouble to implement it. :(

Re: Cover_2 Rename Issue

Wish I'd seen this before posting the same issue again. Totally agree, this is a regression. Software should not be asking how to name a file, and then ignoring the user's response and making up a different name. The real shame here is, someone actually felt that was appropriate behavior and went to...

AutoTag "Add Artwork" Regression

I wouldn't call it a bug. Well, I suppose I would , but most folks would probably just call it a regression, or even <cough> an enhancement. In MM3, when you AutoTag'd from the web, and chose to save the Album Art, the saved file would be named exactly what you told it to be named. If there was alre...

Re: MediaMonkey Reviews

Automatically taking over file associations with any prompting is bad design in general. I sense you meant "without" any prompting? Yes, indeed, that would be outrageous. But the problem with MM4 isn't that it it fails to ask. It's that it allows you to click right past it without even seeing the q...
